I have just brought down the collective IQ of the BBS by about 5 points.

This week is off to a good start.

Moes trying hard to get more reps you see
cause everybody on Clutchfans loves DD
Now he's trying hard to have a freaky flow
jealous of all the knowledge dropped by basso

the only raiders fan inside loop 610
he loves them like Michael Jackson loved that rat in the song Ben
now he wants to rule Clutchfans hangout
off course says the GPS route
hip hop is for the children
    ODB once told
ACDC's in concert, Moes on ticketmaster, sold!

UH was where you got your PHD
as puffy said, it's a playa hating degree
dissing Austin where once Clutch did reside
knowing that us Longhorns got alot of pride
UH their football team is finally clicking
something else to get excited for cougs besides Frenchy's Fried Chicken

DD is a better Rockets fan than you
no need to diss him for that
if someone is different you act like a brat
or da brat with Jermaine dupri
all I here from Moes is just envy

So why do you care what race or what place
hip hop is taking over the radio space
i think you just hate cause you can't relate
that the world is a different place
    where anyone can have fun
    a different world, kadeem hardison

    I'm down with the Htown
cause that's where I went to school
rich school, poor school, it's all cool
Clutch City is the reason why we're on here
not for your tavern or beer

    Austin rocks
    in the summer it's sunny
Moe, you just need to sit down
go buy a chair from Mattress Mack
    cause he will really save-you-money!

    No you don't.

It's a genre of music for everyone. I've been listening to Hip Hop since I was 6 and it has nothing to do that I was raised in Brownsville.

it's funny how austin gets thrown under the bus by moe. it's probably because I live here, but we've been getting lots of strong hip hop acts.

I forgot to mention on the other thread that I saw KRS ONE in austin.
Rakim was here for SXSW. Hip hop legends!

I don't think you have to live in a certain city to like Hip Hop. But I do think that the Hip Hop culture features a lot of regional favoritism and smack. If that hurts your feelings, maybe you should switch genres.

I saw Meth, Red and Rzarector in New York about a year ago performing C.R.E.A.M and a bunch of other Wu hits with Ghostface and Cappadonna. I don't know why Raekwon and Gza were absent, I think it was some kind of emergency.

Best performance I have ever seen, in my life. Long live the Wu's!

I randomly met RZA on 6th street, I told him I enjoyed his work on the Ghost Dog.

Saw Method Man here, he did a tribute to ODB. It was awesome!
and yes, for moe, lots of different races, genders, and clothing styles were in the audience.

I am absolutely baffled at the fact that you can't understand why I called you a fake thug for living in Austin and acting like you're hardcore.

I like Austin, I think its a great place. My sister in law lives there and I visit often.

I never said Austin is lame and you can't like Hip-Hop if you live there, I just said you can't claim to be "hard" if you live there.

    Huge difference.

I saw Ice Cube at the back room back in 93 in austin. Austin is a good place to raise a family, its just not really a place for a black man though.

I remember in 04 me and my brother use to go to the CD store everyday to check if ODB new album was released. One day we went and on the TV and it broke the news that ODB died of overdose.

Man was I anticipating that album, Dame Dash hyped it up so much.

I'm not a thug. I only claim to enjoy hip hop music and claim to go to concerts.

you think this because I keep bringing up tupac or ice cube, but i believe a majority of people know the reference.

Oh, I forgot Mo, I saw Ice Cube at SXSW!

Ice Cube -"First of all, I like to thank Microsoft for broadcasting this using Microsoft Silverlight.. a-yeah-yay!!!"

And I knew the lyrics to all the songs, when he did the NWA medley. Straight out of compton, Gangsta Gangsta

    ^^^^^^^
is that claiming to be thug?
