I should point out...I don't drink the frou frou drinks, really. I occasionally order a mocha...very rarely. Normally it's black coffee. grande.
I loathe any hot coffee drinks, but I'll pick up a venti java chip frap on occasion. It's like an expensive mocha-flavored version of a slurpee, so I get the chocolate chips in it to make me feel better for paying $4.57 for it.
I don't think of it as coffee. Its more desert for me. Breve(made with half and half instead of milk) Mocha with whip.
Breve is the only way to fly. If I'm spending $5 on a cup of coffee, it's not going to be Starsucks. There are plenty of independently owned coffee shops out there. I live in the bay area and there's a block in SF that has 3 Starbucks on it. Gross.
I only go there MAYBE once a month, if at all. I either get a white mocha or a vanilla bean frap. Depends on the weather.
I go about twice a week. Usually just get a grande coffee (black), but every now and then I'll get a triple grande-extra hot-no whip-white mocha. The regular coffee at Starbucks is 10x better than the Seattle's Best crap we have at work.
I've been inside of a Starbucks less than five times in my entire life. I hope the trend continues, I can't stand how they smell.
I speak fretalian. My two current faves.... Iced grande french vanilla latte. Iced venti 3 pump classic 3 pump raspberry passion tea lemonade
Larg... Venti ICED Green Tea Latte. Until McDonalds comes out with a McGreen Tea Iced Latte, I will continue to sacrifice 5.50 for this drink. =(
Starbucks sucks, Costa Coffee FTW! Of course, you have to go overseas for it so it sort of defeats the purpose...
