Do you find it annoying when our players try to flop instead of play like a man?

If we do make it to the playoffs, Kevin's flopping tactics would not fare well... adding to that, his poor defense would be exploited.

    Exactly.

I have no problem with the pump fake. I have a problem with players intentionally jumping into others to get the foul call. In my mind, that should be a non-call.. and if anything, it damn sure shouldn't be a shooting foul!

It is incredibly annoying. Not only are they not fouls (he is just running into the defender), it completely disrupts any momentum or rhythm to the game.

Whats hilarious is that he plays the same way in the 4th and he never gets the same calls he was getting earlier in the game.

Martin is effective at what he does, but really, it's not fun watching him play.

Martin, Scola, and lately Lowry are getting notorious bad reps as players who look for and whine for foul calls. It doesn't bode well when you're depending on the refs to bail you out or get you cheap points, plus that time whining to the refs the rest of the team is playing 4 on 5.

like i said before. this thread wouldn't even exist if the rockets were winning games. where were all the "im tired of the rockets flopping" threads during the previous 500 play-off years? flopping is a part of the game now. deal with it.

Almost everybody in the NBA flops, you might as well hate every single player.

Now, we all must agree this is not true.

Hell, this isn't even true for FIBA.

Only Ginobody actually flops on every defensive, non-ball, on ball....without the ball, no panties...with panties..in the lockerroom or not call in the league.

    Oh, except for Kryilenko.

Don't hate the playa. Hate the game.

They're playing within the rules of the game. Personally, I'm proud any time our own players take advantage of a broken system. And why not? Those are the same rules their opponents take advantage of.

Fix the system, not the player. Our guys are doing what they're supposed to be doing to minimize their weaknesses and to take advantage of their strengths.

You can argue all you want about this not being a foul and that not being a foul. But when it's called a foul by a ref, it's a foul. And it's generally called a foul by the ref because the rules of the game define it as such.

I have yet to dream NBA team that doesn't flop its part of today's game and it's the refs and the leagues fault
