No reason to fear anyone at this point. The Rockets are not on the same level as the true contenders at this point. I would expect the Rockets to get clobbered if they squeak into the playoffs. This is a rebuilding year, lets not get our hopes up for something that just isn't possible at this point.

Playoff games are usually played at a slower pace. Rockets suck when they have to be a halfcourt team.

We may not be the second best in the East yet, but we sure have a better w/l record (17-6) than Miami's (16-9).

I think we need to get to the 6th seed or better to have a hope. Yes, weird things can happen in the playoffs. 1st seeds get knocked off in the first round occasionally. But a REALISTIC chance exists at the 6th seed. GS seems to been imploding lately and we are only 3 games back of them. If they right their ship, Memphis could kamikaze. 1/2 game from Utah. So the 6th seed, a place we held at one point, is doable.

As such, we would probably face the Clips or Nuggets. Neither easy, but better than OKC or SA.

this team can win games during the regular season with their fast pace... but i have yet to see a team who runs this much actually win a title.

the game slows down in the playoffs. each possession can be exhausting - the other team knows where the ball is going.

i wonder how this team would handle that type of down shift in tempo? ... i honestly don't know. but we will find out this post-season.

I think OKC and San Antonio would sweep us.
The rest of the WC, I think we have a fighting chance against.

OKC, Spurs, Clips and Denver would all beat us fairly easily and we are pretty much guaranteed to play one of those teams

OKC, SA, LAC and DEN. They would all beat us. We could beat the other teams.

The word "fear" associates with the word "Beard." Since we already got the beard, there is nothing to fear lol.

With Harden rolling these past few games and seeing how his game has become so much more mature ever since people started saying he isos too much, this makes our next OKC meeting very interesting.

I would like to see how Harden reacts to this game, whether he decides to dish the rock or take over the game, the only difference now is that he acts in accordance to the team's flow, and not forcing the plays, like in that game against Warriors he knew Lin and Chandler were hot and stepped back more to let them roll. But then again it is OKC, and this will really be a playoff atmosphere type game and Harden's chance at an early redemption.

Of course the Rockets have everything to fear when it comes to the playoffs!!! Not only do we have a young roster but other than Harden who has playoff experience? The Spurs have too much exp, the Thunder play just like us and are better at it, and the clippers have to much depth, the grizz are our best chance to get to the 2nd round,

I think we will make the playoffs, no doubt. But when it comes to winning all i want is a competitive series( unless we improve the PF position).

After that, all i want to see is The Beard lead our team, i want to see him tell Lin to take that jumper, Parsons to "Bang", and our front court to make a difference on the offensive end. After that it is up to the FO and Mchale to make us better.
