Forget to put my deodorant on before I put on my business shirt. Leaning against the sink (which is always wet) at work when washing my hands. Turning the sink water on too hard at work. Giving my number/email to a hottie rather than getting hers.
****. Possibly. I was supposed to head down to Houston that weekend, but I can probably go Friday night, then go down to Houston Saturday.
I pat it just for the hell of it, but it that is a good idea.... do it in some one else's honor once in a while . Scene: Standing at a bar with the Mrs when a beautiful woman approaches the wife: "Do not look at that woman and pat you c**k! !" TH: "Hunny, I am only honoring her." aside from the kelly bundy syndrome, that is strange cuz i do both of those first things. the deja vu thing doesn't happen all the time but i often get the feeling i know what is about to happen in a certain situation as if i've seen it all before even though i know i haven't. and it happens often enough that it's kinda strange. it's almost like i've dreamt the whole thing before and it just seems so familiar and as i watch the first thing happen it makes me think, that seems familiar and then a second thing will happen and i realize how familiar it is and i just know what the next thing will be and inevitably it happens. very strange. i also will be listening to the radio and right before a song comes on i'll hear some sound effect or something that makes me think of a song and that song will come on next. sometimes i just think it must have been a sound from the song or a faint intro sound but it's happened way too often for that to be the case. i think i just have esp or psychic abilities. the certain number of times thing, i have this thing with 5. like if i pop my index finger with my thumb (pushing it to the side) i often have to touch the other side of my index finger, then again on that side but closer to the middle, then the other side closer to the middle and then in the middle (5 touches). a strange little sequence, and if i mess it up (there are ways to know if i messed up) i do it til i do it right. now i wouldn't call this obsessive compulsive b/c i never can think of a time i did it more than 3 times and it's usually just one, but i think it's definitely obsessive. or would it be compulsive. i guess compulsive b/c i don't keep doing it. i do lots of other weird things with 5. i also start all staircases with my left foot and step off with the left (some sort of lefty pride thing i think that was ingrained into me after experiencing so many years of righty-favoritism against us lefties). i also used to never step on cracks in the sidewalk. not out of superstition of bad luck or anything, i just didn't. i don't do that anymore but sometimes i still have to make myself step on the crack instead of changing up my steps to not do it. remember how monica on friends told richard he needed "a thing" to match her neuroticism. well i've got plenty of those. i'm also hypercompetitive like monica (does it just go with the territory?). about stupid things, i know there are things like mrs. jb said where i've done them a million times around the house and i have a 50/50 shot of being right and yet i always screw it up the first time. after saying all those weird things i feel like geoge opening up to seinfeld and about to get a "good luck with all that" response.
