I forgot one- I 'collect' succulents and cacti with minimum spines. I don't know how many species I have, but it has to be over 50 at this point.
I collect patches and playing cards. Usually a pretty cheap gift shop find and a cool way to remember things. Although I don't remember where I got most of them now.
When I was a kid: shark teeth on the beach sea shells on the beach petrified wood everywhere fossils everywhere dinosaur stuff, everywhere bones, everywhere cool rocks everywhere stamps and coins, everywhere Sorry, but no comic books.
Fossils, minerals, and meteorites are something I kind of want to get into. I loved dinosaurs and astronomy as a kid and there are some mineral formations that are crazy beautiful to look at. I just don't know the industry enough to where I'm confident I'm not getting ripped off buying stuff yet. I had a friend buy me a 100 million year old bee stuck in hardened amber. We started laughing because she was like "I sure thought it'd be bigger than that". I responded with "you could've at least got me a magnifying glass to go with it".
Dont know offhand. The gimmick on these is each figure comes with one sixth of a part of bigger figure, so its buy six, get the seventh for free essentially. She was a purchase to complete the set. I'll look to see if I can find it.

Windowsills or close to windows. I’m learning more about them. Turns out I was under-watering. About to do a massive repot with fresh soil (1/2 ‘cactus’ soil 1/2 pearlite). I ordered some full spectrum lights for the more full-sun hungry species. I’m thinking about xeriscaping the front of my house with them next spring. I guess the biggest I own is a massive agave that came with one of my rent houses. When I bought the house it has a massive 20’ flower stalk.
I like using lava sand with small lava rocks in mine. You could make a custom mix too. I went out to Quality Feed and he has all the components you need to make a custom mix. Soil conditioner, compost, pumice, lava sand, etc. I prefer pumice over perlite cause perlite floats and most of my stuff is big sculptural 5 gal+ plants with a few offshoots that I repot. Been sowing and germinating seeds for the past year now and I've had good success lately.
