You should care about your appearance but you shouldn't care what people think of your appearance. If you feel you look good, you look good. Don't let others opinions change the way you live.

I agree. Regardless of what others think of you, i feel, if you don't feel you look good then there is a problem. You should always feel you look good or do what it takes to accomplish that.

I always feel like i'm fly so that's not a big deal for me. I might dress up a little more if i'm going somewhere with my gf but that's the only person who's opinion matters when it comes to my clothes. But, just like animals do things to make themselves appealing to the opposite sex, people do too. So, i can understand people dressing up more when their trying to attract new people, how else are you supposed to attract new people?

I absolutely agree! I may take more time to get ready than other women and think I look good. I choose to wear high heels to work instead of flats or dress shoes. I don't take it to extreme though like getting dressed up just to go to grocery shopping or whatever. All that doesn't make me shallow.

We're all different. One Love! :p

I wear a tuxedo at all times. I only remove it to shower, after which I change into another tuxedo. Then I have my man-servant vaporize the old one.

Really? Because I've found it can be a hassle when I'm engaged in steamy relations with a beautiful Russian counter-operative. I tend to remove it, especially since trying to have sex through the zipper might arouse suspicions. I suppose you don't get any questions about that? I also find its easier to infiltrate an international arms dealer's yacht party off the shores of Ibiza when you're wearing a nautical sweater, linen pants, and deck shoes. Tuxedos tend to stick out in that situation.

i care only to the point that i don't look like a complete idiot.

i.e. i'll take about 20 seconds to put some stuff in my hair...cause otherwise it'll be a weird wavy semi-afro weird thing. I'll shave once, sometimes twice a week...only to stay comfortable (face can get itchy..)

Clothes.. I wear whatever I can get away with. Dress code is supposedly business casual...therefore I wear jeans and polo-type shirts, comfortable casual shoes. I figure if I stepped it further down to a t-shirt, I might hear from someone.

On occasion I've been known to wear charcoal-colored PJ's to work, passing them off as dress pants. It has worked as long as the waistband was covered (until they got old). Comfortable as hell..

Those are all the rules for work, at least..

Things definetely tailed off soon after I got married (2004) and I'm not proud of it.

Clothes shopping used to be enjoyable, fashion used to interest me.

    Not now.

There's a thing people say about how you can tell when a man got married by his fashions/hairstyle etc.

I am a walking tribute to 2004 - which is reasonable now - but by the next Olympics i'm going to be a disgrace.

There are so many CUTE comfortable tops available, t-shirts are obsolete unless I feel like rocking a Rockets shirt, I'm going to the gym, or haven't done laundry.

So usually, I wear something in the line of this:

I LOVE make up and heels, but I don't feel the need to do both everyday. I wear flats and verrrrrrrrry light make up most of the time. It just depends on how much effort I feel like putting into it that particular day.

Nope, don't really care. And I find I tend towards women who don't wear any makeup. It all seems like a big waste of time to me.

Don't get me wrong... I don't go out in sweatpants or anything. But any old pair of khakis/jeans matched with the nearest clean shirt in reach is good enough for me.

Depends. I had a previous job where I had to wear a tie to work 4 days a week. Now that I'm allowed to be more casual, I actually try harder because otherwise I tend to be a bit of a slob. The second I get home, I'm into shorts that may or may not be torn and a t-shirt. I'll look decent to go out in public if it's anything more than going to the grocery store.

That is so cute! I'm having a hard time to find some decent clothes that aren't in department stores or so expensive. I'm thinking about hitting up Montrose and see what they have. I'm on a budget now!
