Do you believe we can win a title with small ball 3 guard rotations?

Westbrook and Harden are guards capable of averaging 10 rebounds a game. They aren’t your normal guards.

Gordon is incredibly stout as well. Kerr called him a “linebacker”.

We still haven’t replaced Ariza’s length, lateral quickness and intelligence, and it continues to hurt our consistency.

He was also a glue gel guy that we need. Tucker may be the floor general when it came to defense but Ariza seemed to put people in their places.

No. That would require Westbrick getting out of the 1st round.

If we get that player I would say we have a chance.

If we surround our 3 guards with legit NBA level talent then yes. The only team small didn't defeat were the Warriors, and its debatable if small ball was the "sole" reason for those losses. We have seen it work already. But we cant run out a bunch of inexperienced kids or GLeaguers and expect MDA to work some kind of miracle. No other contenders are forced to have to try to play guys who are not ready for prime time except the Rockets.

Everyone wants MDA to play the "kids" more. We are expecting guys who have never played under playoff pressure to come in and be serviceable in the post season. We clearly saw with House last year that it isn't that simple. There is a reason why our supporting cast looked that much better and consistent in 17-18. We had vets who were not afraid of the moment and flat out got it done all year within MDA's system.

So yes the 3 guard or small ball lineup can work. We have already seen the evidence. But not if we keep refusing to upgrade our depth which is what a lot of posters in this thread have already stated. I will have a more definitive answer after the trade deadline.

No and I don’t think we can win with PJ Tucker playing big minutes at the 4.
