would you play professional basketball when you feel some pain? aside from becoming more hurt, you're not going to be effective, a liability to the team. that's the point.

bottome line, if you're not feeling good, why would you waste 10 shots. I don't believe he got hurt during the game last night. As usual, trying to get an excuse for a bad night. Typical Tmac.

He is obviously injured. There is no doubt about it. However, I think the bigger problem with Tracy now is that he hasn't bought into Adleman's system at all and he is not happy. I think that the same can be said about Yao, but Yao does handle the situation better than Tracy.

When your stars and your coach are not on the same page, you have a problem.

The fact that TMac missed the chance to be Howard's teammate "hurts" him. So yes, he is hurt, mentally.

Disagree. As talented as TMAC, he can do a lot to help the team on court even he's not 100%.
Agree with that. If you don't shoot well, just do other things to help the team, TMAC has that ability. But he is just mentally weak and quit. Yao is mentally tougher than TMAC in that category.

Why even start a thread like this? If he plays like he did last night, he's better out of the lineup. If he's not 100 percent and playing through pain, you guys call him out and call him a soft. Why not just hold off on him and lets see what he brings when he comes back. You guys could go off on Francis too for being sick with the flu. Is that real or not?

He can do a lot while making your injury worse?

Bill Russell said it time ago, Durability is part of what makes an athlete, why are we paying T-Mac the same that other stars that play arguably 20% more of matches every year, Trade his ass out of here, i will take an average PG and SG + fillers, i don´t even want starts, just players who can play decently on consistent basis.

pop this isn't a Rockets fans thread. It's a sway with the wind thread.

If it's really just a knee bruise like we're being told, no, he's not going to make it worse.

Besides, the only way we know for sure whether he will make it worse or not is for him to have an MRI. But he want to do this...that's shady.

you are letting your love for tmac block reality.....the wind has been swaying for a while now with this guy, that's why people are critical of him....even when we were winning during the reg. season last season I was critical of him not taking it to the basket enough and not taking over late in games.......this criticism has followed him every where that he's been.

Right. All of us that see the same thing with McGrady just sway with the wind. That's great. You figured us out.

I'll be the first one praising him for leading us to victory if he's actually doing that. If he plays like this on a consistent basis, with that look in his eye like he knows he's unstoppable...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqT1Tn_JYD0

...then I will be all over it with praise. Until then, I'm going to call him out for what I see.

I prefer to call it like I see it, as do many others. You prefer to stick to your opinions no matter what and say that people that do call it like we see it are "swaying with the wind."

By the way, can you tell me why he refuses to have an MRI?

I don't love McGrady and I have my own criticisms of him, but there are plenty of fickle fans here jumping on the hate bandwagon, along with the chief feather DaDa who can't make up his mind about anything longer than a month.

I see the same posters jumping in and out of the frying pan over and over, and can't even give credit where it's due.

This isn't about criticizing the guy, but this thread for one is ridiculous. Do you believe he's hurt, do you believe everyone here is a real fan?

Do you believe half of the people here are more clueless than management is?

I don't know, but an MRI would put the issue to rest.

herm, I didnt see the vid or read a transcript about that, but I have no clue what that's all about. Scared, more drama, who knows. One thing is for sure, this board and its wind walker fans have jumped the gun before.

This always cracks me up, of course opinions change as the team dynamic and the situation changes.

It is fluid, and I call it like I see it...at that very moment.....and I do not hate Tmac, I just want him to play with passion and show that he cares about winning, because right now, I seriously believe that TMac cares more about being famous than about winning games.

And to me, that is a Big deal..

Why is it ridiculous???....The guy has a history of quitting on his team in the past and present.....why not get an MRI???....if you're really hurt and it's early in the season why not get an MRI????....it just leaves the door open for interpretation WAY too much.
