And somewhere, the DaDakota spurs fan version is probably massaging his crotch and crying in his beer to the lost potential of Benno Udrih, convinced that Popovich ruined this diamond in the rough....

And somewhere, Sam Fisher pads his post count with innane dribble, and nothing worthwhile to add to a discussion......TYPICAL !!!

inane dribble...thanks for doing my job for me.

After they get fired from the Rockets for sucking so hard, maybe you can recruit Spanoulis and Novak to the DaDakota Traveling all-star team, where they can team with Dan Langhi and Bostjan Nachbar and Eddie Griffin and one day win the NBA championship that was ripped from them by stupid coaches. You can coach the team so that they'll be the bestest ever.

Now you are talking....that team would rock !!!

    ;)

Of course you are truly exaggerating to make yet another innane point and continuing to pad your post count.

2 for 2 Sam....you are on a (t)roll. There is no one that will ever catch your posts per day at this rate !

    You RULE !

I keep thinking the guy whos coaching Mavs right now. He doesn't have a lot of coaching experience yet but his coaching ability is eyecatching. If we can swipe JVG for him, I would do it in an eyeblink.

    Dakota,

The theory that he works his guys too hard and that leads to injuries doesn't fly. When he was with the Knicks, all of his starters played heavy minutes. And they got past the first round every year except one and made it to the Finals also.

Since he came to Houston, he has had bad luck. But take a look. The Knick teams he had were made of players who were tough, played excellent defense and were well prepared. I think that he is doing that here...though I do questioned some of these players toughness at times. Larry Johnson barely had a back and hit winning 3pt shots in the playoffs. Ward and Houston had hardly any knees and still contributed. Still, he had very good health overall in NY and if he gets that in Houston, it could be a very good year at the very minimum.
That doesn't excuse him in my eyes though, if we don't get to at least the second round this year.

I thgink we have remained pretty competitive despite the injuries this year, HeyDude. I think that we are a little deeper this year and that is offsetting the loss of Yao somewhat. And thanks to T-Mac finally finding his balls, I think this team still has a hell of a shot at winning 50+ games.

Here is what I fear though. Lets say the Rocks win 52 games. That will probably give us the 4th seed! Dallas. SA. Phoenix. Imagine winning 52 games and getting a 4th seed.

    Just horrible.

Well yeah... with the type of inconsistant role players we have it really depends on who we play! I rather play Jazz than anyone else at this point. Face it most of our role players are not as good as Dallas' or Suns' role players but im saying all this based on current stats lets see if we can show some consistency in the near future.

Health wise yes I agree with you but we need to keep in mind that knicks are in eastern conference and Rockets are in western conference JVG will need to build this team alot tougher than knicks during his time and along with you I also question our players mentle toughness at times especially Tmac's.
