    Yes, if the Rockets want to sign Parsons after his contract expires in 2015, they can use his bird rights. However, if they want to avoid the same situation that Dragic has put them into, and extend him in 2014, prior to his contract expiring, they will need cap room, ala the Zombie Sonics and Kendrick Perkins.

    Daryl, whatever you feel about him, has a unique ability to find gems late in the draft or that others don't look for. The whole point of taking advantage of that is being able to extend them before they blow if he really trust it. We gotta be able ot sign them!
