We are one low-post scoring presence and a backup center away from being legitimate contenders.

Obviously there are many people here who don't know or ignore the fact that the

GM, Coach, and players are all linked together.

For example, certain type of players like Charles Oakley and Mark Jackson follow JVG around, while you have Kevin Martin and Brad Miller showing up on Rick Adelman teams

Ok, first of all we had great players on a great team or else the Rockets would not have such a high seed and home court advantage on say a team like Utah.

And lastly, for Morey, he did make a trade in the Yao era. I call it the Yao era because Yao was there with Steve Francis, McGrady, and Kevin Martin etc.

You call it that era because of someone who is stable. Morey did make some trades and acquisitions to make the team better then and in the future.

The biggest trade he made was dumping an undependable superstar in McGrady to the Knicks. This trade today is one of the reasons why we have James Harden. If you remember we got Kevin Martin out of it which went to OKC in the Harden Trade.
