You sir are a f'ing idiot. A no faith PoS and should be given a technical by Clutch for your ignorance. 1) Rafer just needs to learn to play a passing game. 2) Where the hell have you been. Sure its only been three games but damn don't give Brooks any credit where its due. 3) Kthxsbye
if its for the vet min, the risk that we takes is limited. Real limited. And its another 1.2m that could be traded along as expiring contract. For all the cancer talk, i really wonder how cancerous he can be. 1)Adelman is as good as it gets on man management 2)Rox is team with alot of veterans and star power 3)Starbury will be coming in not as the starting PG, hence smaller ego 4)His contract is small and short, hence could be cut at anytime 5)On a team where the moral is high, and expectations to win is even higher, his mood swings will be less frequent. For all the ball hog critics, what i suggest is 1)do not let him handle the ball, set him up, and then let him do his job. Put him in along with Barry or Tmac who can handle the ball. p.s. and i really need to see the game, as it amaze me how a ball hog can get 8 assist per game over his career. What he could bring in? 1)Offensively his much better than rafer. 2)His not a bad defender. 3)A legitimate back-up that could get the starting spot if his head is screw properly.
Man please....Steph is better than any PG we have on our roster. If you can get him for nothing and can him if it doesn't work out, then of course you go for it. What is the risk...he blows up the locker room for a week and you suddelny can't pull your team back together after you axe him?
I agree. Wasn't Artest suppose to be a cancer? Complete BS. Marbury has talent cancer or not. If we CAN we should make this move.
Why is everyone ignoring "if he misbehaves get rid of him and his cheap contract"? So assume he comes in here and flips out? Do y'all just think the team will allow him to flip out all season and keep him around...when they aren't paying him much? Do y'all think a short time span of freaking out will ruin the team for the remainder of the season (i.e. two months from now the locker room is all in shambles because Steph played 3 weeks here and acted like a broad)? Do y'all think he will just suck for his trial run, costing us some games and a top seed or something? Please...someone make me understand the pain in bringing him in...it not working out...and getting rid of him ASAP? Where is the risk? The only risk I see is Les losing an extra mil....which I really don't care about.
if you pick up marbury, he's gonna demand to play. and if he plays, youre gonna take away valuable playing time from Aaron Brooks. AB needs to increase his playing time and get his confidence up. Rafer is reliable when it comes to handling the ball and keeping his TOs low. And we still have Francis. Marbury just doesnt fit in the team. Would you consider picking up Zach Randolph? a good scorer and big presence inside? of course not, because itll ruin everything else. He'll take space inside and mess up Yao's game. It'll take away PT from landry and scola.
marbury coming in and francis SOL again. feel bad for francis but yeah, bring marbury in. like it was said a million times before, if he doesnt work out then cut him. low risk and possible high return.
Can we sign him for a short term contract? like 10 days at a time? obviously if we sign him they would make sure he knows that he would be starting out as a backup pg. & that he should look to pass first. If he says no way then we pass on him. (which he will most likely do) if this guy is our backup pg how much damage can he do? Has rafer ever averaged 8 assists in a season? risk vs. reward - I believe the potential reward outweighs the risk. If he blossoms in Houston... who knows. "memac" (or so he was called) has become a playmaker on this team. What if he would like to be on a championship caliber team? Maybe adelman has the talent to tame wild horses...
definitely take the chance on marbury, if it works out then keep him and trade rafer and steve for a big man, marbury can still play and he was really motivated to play this year but the coach benched him. I mean why not take a chance on a 20 and 8 career guy for 1.2 mil. A lot of people say no but to turn all those bricks by rafer into makes would be great, and a guy who actually attacks the rim and gets to the line would be awesome
I think not.Brooks played very well, when Francis come back, can you foresee what will happen,Francis and Marbury seems cant stay harmony. We cant forget their together in NY

I just want to say NO to getting Marbury! Rafer is much better at running the team than he gets credit for, though at times his shooting struggles. Brooks also looks great right now. We don't and nobody else needs a team killer like Stephon. There's a reason he's cheap.
"Please...someone make me understand the pain in bringing him in...it not working out...and getting rid of him ASAP? Where is the risk? The only risk I see is Les losing an extra mil....which I really don't care about." The risk is you totally mess up the chemistry on a selfish guy like him. Who do you play after him, Rafer or Brooks. You totally mess up their minutes and perhaps stunt or cause some confidence loss in Brooks. I imagine Rafer, who makes the team flow, would be pretty ticked. You don't take a chance with a loser like Marbury. This would cause a real division I feel in the locker room among the rest of the team as well.
Hmmm, you play whoever that is better. Hence RA could always play marbury instead of Rafer. I like the idea of AB, Marbury, Artest, Landry and Hayes. Fast, mobile and have a 2nd go to guy at the 2nd unit. Barry gives you good spacing(but his 3s is still not getting it done), great leadership but if his shooting is down, his pretty worthless on the court as he cant defend. And putting him with the starters? Not too shabby. If he can shoot .328% at the 3p line with the entire defense collapsing on you. I cant wait for him to shoot those wide open 3s instead of rafer bricking half of them. (He actually shot better for the last 2 years than rafer.) Speaking of randolph, i actually thinks his a good complement to yao. With the ability to shoot up to the 3p line, as well as grabbing rebounds. His downside? Defense. But i cant say scolandry have better defense than him. His actual down fall? His head. Playing in the post does not meant anything. Artest and Tmac get most of their points off from post position. As well as scola. And Yao is still the main weapon.
Okay girls and boys: -Its a 2 letter word. -Its a negative -It starts w/ an N -It ends w/ a O & the clock starts now..... ...... ...... ...... Lets see your answers... Hmmmm looks like every one got it right upset people who have not idea what Chemistry is!!! The correct answer is NO!
