You are right, I would love to see Cousins in a Rockets uni. Just think he's too young and too good for anyone to be giving up on him in his rookie season but he could be a chip in say a trade for someone like Melo or Paul. It's a bet.

You make a good point but at the same time I think that the Maloof's are also realists. They have to be fully aware that a superstar player has no interest in playing in Sacramento for several reasons, number one being that they aren't going to win a championship anytime soon. So in order to change that I feel that they must first be able to acquire talented character guys that can lead the change of their losing culture. Landry has high character but he is a happy go lucky guy and he can't change it on his own.

But one thing that Morey is very good at is making an offer that is too hard to refuse at a moment of weakness for his trade partner. The other thing that no one talks about is that if the Kings have been aggressively pursuing AB who else on their roster do they realistically think Morey would be interested enough in to pull the trigger. Reports have said that it is Jason Thompson but they can't seriously believe a trade was going to get done that way. Oh well, I will keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks for the idea of the tip jar bet. I usually don't bet but I love reading this website and was happy to do it.
