We would have beaten the Mavs in this series if Juwan is healthy and all, we would have beaten the Mavs if not for the refs screwed us. I hate to admit it, but the Rockets with a healty JHoward probably still hard to win against Spurs. IMO, definitely need a upgrade over Juwan howard in PF.

I hope we can get Bozi Wells, he could be a really good fit under JVG. I don't think Jerry West would do us a favor though.

If we signel latrell sprewell, im pretty sure that i would root for him to get hurt, get traded, or just plain suck and not play....i dont know why anyone would want him on any team - hes a cancer.

This is the OLDEST team in the league, you could see we often ran out of gas in the late part of the games due to the old legs.

    We need a youth movement.:D

You're right Hakeem. But for that to happen here, you need to have an organization that can evaluate, procure and develop young talent. Judging strickly from their last 6 drafts, that ain't the Rockets.

i'd hate to agree with you, but you're right. aside from yao in '02 what is there to show for the 13 picks used? granted 6 of those were 2nd round picks meaning most didn't ever get a contract, look at some names taken after those 6:

Manu Ginobili, Todd MacCulloch, Eddie House, Michael Redd, Brian Cardinal, Trenton Hassell, Gilbert Arenas, Brian Scalabrine.

and these are all just 2nd rounders, this isn't even the tip of the ice if you look to 1st round picks taken after the rockets chose.... but i guess that's why its a crapshoot.

I thought I heard/read somewhere that when you draft someone, you have two years to sign him or he becomes a free agent. Is this true? If it is, don't we have toput Badiane on the payroll or lose him?

We have the #24 pick and there is a good chance Warrick will still be there. I have my doubts about Warrick though, it seems he relies too much on just athleticism. The guy is also wwaayy too thin to be an effective PF, he really is a tweener. Can't bang downlow w/ PFs, not a good enough offensive game to be a SF.

However, if available, I would love to pick up Simien. This guy is a beast on the boards and has a nice little offensive package as well.
