I doubt Scola denies the trade, I don't think he cares where he plays as long as its the NBA....

Also, there not to high on Calderon in toronto--->http://www.raptorsforum.com/f/f5/jose-calderon-really-really-really-sucks-13996.html#post346333

Plus a lot of people outside of Houston see Brooks as a future All-Star , so I think they would entertain the trade....

I wouldn't say we "need" Bosh but he definitely makes us a tougher contender if we get him. Bosh would be great because he would give us a bit of an insurance for when Yao is out. As it stands now, certain teams are able to exploit out lack of size inside with Yao gone. Bosh has a far better injury history than Yao and when both play at the same time, they would be great compliments to each other and would dominate other team's bigs(even the Lakers).

man the rockets getting chris bosh would make up significantly for us trading landry. yes bosh shoots too much from outside, but he can be dominant whenever he takes his game inside. chris bosh is a offensive post threat when he scores inside. we already can compete with the lakers with the current team we have now, and i feel the rockets getting bosh actually puts us right up there with the lakers if yao stay healthy.

Yeah, people are looking at Hill as nothing but a trade chip, but there's a possibility he could be a huge piece for the Rockets. It's not like he's some nonathletic, overachieving veteran. I'd love for the Rockets to get Bosh or Stoudemire, but even if they don't, the future could be bright.

The knock on Calderon is that he doesn't play defense, but Brooks is no defensive stopper either.

And Luis has proved himself in the league (unlike when he first arrived) so staying in the NBA is a given.

Guys have egos (even Luis) & considering this is his 1st and last shot at a big contract he may have some preferences that DOES NOT include being banished to a Raptors team with no shot at a tilte

In fact, Bosh never passed the 1st round. I don't understand why people think he will make the rockets a championship team.

bosh compliments yao well and his supporting cast in houston is much better than what he has in toronto.

Bosh is so overrated, especially on this board. I would rather have Amar'e, he can at least play center AND is the physical presence next to Yao that has been missing.

he's an athletic power forward that is able to spread the floor well and can give yao room to work.

ROFL! Amar'e is a one trick pony that doesn't play D. If anyone is overrated it's Amar'e. It's obvious because GM's are lined up for Bosh but when Amar'e is on the Market no one really want go give up anything for him.

Amare is in a simialiar boat as Yao, He's been injured & operated many times so teams are gun shy about a long term investment.

Bosh has never been seriously injured and is a tad younger.

Yao need an PF with good defense ability to play with him. Bosh's defense is more than 'suck'.

Actually, I think Jordan Hill compliments Yao well.

No, but I wouldn't be crying if he were to sign with us. I do think scola is a better fit though

Bosh himself never passed the 1st round. How can you be so sure he can make the rockets a true contender?

Tell me, at the center position, who was Yao softer than except Shaq?

Yao beats every center one on one who playes inside.
