    You could say 20 out of 40 million was for the sublime job of setting the Culture and transforming a losing ball club into a Playoff team.

    Was that steep, for sure, but I cannot find 2-3 teams that had a faster rebuilding phase.

    Signing athletes is vastly different than signing your star contractor or your star chef.
