The only way Boozer can even sniff Griffin's jock is as he flies by his nose on a put back jam !

just let him drop 40 or 50 points as long as his teammates suck, we will be fine.

You're giving Boozer ideas to do that ...

Right, but Rockets couldnt stop him years ago (until Scola came and made Boozer have to work hard). And I remember it kept getting repeated ad nauseum here How do we stop Boozer/Yao cant get rebound/How do we stop Boozer/Boozer get rebound on Yao/How do we stop Boozer.

So far I don't see the Clippers as a direct threat to the Rockets, and they're not winning WITH Griffin, so just win the game.

Now if Griffin goes all triple-double with Clippers winning over Rockets like other prized rookie John Wall, yeah I'll be asking this question lol.

Just put the Chuckwagon on him and see what happens.

If that doesn't work, Jordan Hill will be next in line.

If that doesn't work, then it's not happening.

It sounds Griffin is even better than prime Shaq. No one could stop him! ;)

At least Aaron Brooks will be back. Can Griffin defend a 3?

    Just Flop him out...
    We're good at it...
Have Lowry Martin Drive at him and flail their arms when they go for the shot,

On D, have Scola Fall backwards every time theres any contact... Sorted

The way Jordan played tonight against Cousins, he could be a force.

Of course put Hayes on him, he's our best defender. Let him get his 20/12. Last I checked, the Clippers only have 8 wins when Griffin gets his average.

The Modesto Monster is going to make Griffin have his worst game of the year.

He will come with a few highlight dunks (because we lack rim protection) but he will still shoot less than 40%FG.

Prediction: Two dunks on ESPN Top-10 plays.

Would a double-team on Griffin be a good idea?

    Maybe a little scola hills?
Who dare thou come thru scola hills? A boy with an afro puff and muscles.

Then we can bring in a little Jared Jeffries...hope he'll be suited to play :p just take a few shooting fouls on him, nothing too serious cuz Blake gets mad. Put Griffin on the FT throw line a little. Get those defensive boards.

How about a little Hills and Hayes?
Doth cannot dribble 'tween the steepness of a hill as hayestacks swoop by for a clean slap n steal. original, i know.

Yeah? A little double-team? Make someone else besides Blake get it done? Maybe make him call time outs to stop shot clock violations?

yea we can but I dont think Blake Griffin can beat us by himself.

Also, I know Griffin will be a great player but I dont think he has developed a complete offensive game for him to be double teamed yet.

Griffin's nice, but he's overrated thanks to those nice dunks. For cripes's sake, people, he's not as big of a threat as Gasol or Dirk.

His only skill right now is dunking. Chuck Hayes will shut him down like he did Amare. Griffins game still needs to evolve before he is feared offensively.

Keeping him off the boards could be a problem though.
