I like to think we have one of the best backcourts. HardLin reminds me a little of Isiah Thomas and Joe Dumars duo except Harden is better than Dumars and Isiah is better than Lin.

Wow. Hell no. Goodness gracious people need to relax, On what planet do we have one of the best back court in the NBA? Harden has started in ONE game. Lin has 26 starts under his belt. Both are unfinished products. How is our back court better than Nash & Kobe, or the Celtics or Clippers or Nets or Spurs or Nuggets.

What I do think we have is a solid back court probably the most exciting one in the NBA with the potential to be one of the bests down the road. But right now we aren't even close. I do think ours is better than the Cavs, Wizards, Raptors, Knicks & Bucks that is for sure. But no way in hell is it one of the best in the NBA

If Machado is going to the D-Leauge to get some extra work on his game then there is only one player left to replace Toney Douglas..... That man is Royce White. Drop Royce in there with Delfino and Jones as your main subs and I think we can keep things stable. Douglas needs to be the 15th man if her doesn't straighten his game out quick.

Things like this are measured at the all star break. But I do think they may be top 5 at some point.

Lin and Harden are better, right now, than Kobe/Nash. Nash is almost 39. I've been 39. Even with all the savvy and experience, it doesn't make up for the loss of athleticism. Kobe's no fountain-of-youth either. Kobe and Harden may be a wash, but Lin is better than Nash at this point.

No way my friend. I respectfully disagree. Lin & Harden are not better than Kobe & Nash. And I love both players a lot. Steve Nash at age 30 has consistently led a top 10 offense. The best offense Lin has ever led ranked 12th & that was over 25 games as opposed to several seasons like Nash. Nash was the assists leader just last season, leading the 9th best offense in the NBA with a roster filled with journeymen. It can be argued that Nash is the second best point guard in the NBA behind CP3. Nash is the epitome of POINT GOD. He makes everyone better everyone. He could probably get a little something something out of Eddy Curry. Does Lin have some Nash in him yes ask Mike D'antoni, but he isn't better than Steve Nash. Harden has played one NBA game as a full time starter one. Do I think that Harden will prove this season to be better than Kobe yes I do but let's hold off until he has started in more than one NBA game.

Ha! Alright. Fair enough. It will definitely be a very fun game watching Lin/Harden vs Nash/Kobe. As well as Asik/Howard.

    It should be interesting.

I suspect that Kobe and the Lakers have a bit of an axe to grind with Lin, considering the last time he was there he dropped 38 and 7...

Kobe's last words the last time they met were, "Judgement will come next season."

    Very interesting...

Bwahaha are you for real!? Kobe said that. When did he say this, can't believe I didn't know. For the most part Kobe has been incredibly complimentary to Parsons & Lin. OMG the Mamba is hilarious. Just now he told Laker fans to shut up about the Princeton offense. That is going to be such a fun game.

I am actually looking forward to playing the Celtics a lot. I think that will be a very good feeler game to see exactly how competitive our back court is. One of the things with Lin is that he has so many fans everywhere even in random places like Indiana, at times away games feel like home games. Like in Detroit there were a lot of his jersey's in the crowds. Wait until the Rockets go to Boston they absolutely love him there.

Who exactly is Jeremy Lin better than Nash or Kobe? Please take your time explaining how stupid that sounds

    Francis/ Mobley> Lin/Harden

The Celtics game will definitely be interesting. Rondo's made some bold comments recently. Let's see if he can back them up. I'm more concerned with Rondo than Nash though.

Harden is great, but Lin is an glorified bench player who can't hold a candle to Lowry or Dragon.. had we hept either of the 2 instead of bringing in the cash cow, that contention would be very much true.

Based on their careers and last season Nash and Kobe are much better. Kobe is averaging 26 points shooting 61% from the field and 44% from the 3 point line. Let's not jump the gun.

How's life living in your alternative universe? You must be pretty excited about knocking you starting PG, and hoping you're correct about him being a glorified bench player. Haters gotta hate I guess.

True. Rondo has been very vocal. I forgot about the comments he made over the summer. You know he will be bring his A game. Will be interesting to see how our back court responds. Lin/Harden vs Rondo/Lee. That is going to be a fun game particularly because there will be a lot of Harvard students at the game & the Celtics team will want to make a statement against the Rockets.

Hypothetically Lin shouldn't have as much of a problem with Nash because of his weakness on D & because Lin is a lot more athletic & just bigger than him. But Nash is still playing at a ridiculously high level & he is one of my favourite players so I give him the benefit of the doubt.

Not stupid - not ridiculous. Nash 39. Kobe 34 (many basketball years). Lakers 0-2. It helps to be over 35 for a clearer understanding. It's simple human nature.

Kobe and Harden are probably close, but I give Lin the nod over Nash because of superior defense. Lin can really hinder opposing offenses. Even in his MVP years, Nash was barely average on D. That was 6 years ago.

The only thing Lin does better than Nash is turn the ball over. You are CLEARLY a delusional homer
