Let's be objective for a second. We would love to have the Clippers #2....did we have a chance in hell of outbidding New Jersey? We would love to have Atlanta's #3....did we have a chance in hell of outbidding Vancouver? So, now we have our sites set on Vancouver "extra pick" at #6...do we have a change in hell of outbidding Boston? What is our trade bait. I think Cato has zero trade value in this draft of many, many centers. Why take on a project like Cato with his salary and age? imo, our only trade value is the picks, which will likely only move us up 2 spots, or down for value. We are not trading NJ/Vanc type stars like Mobley/Stevie. Apparently, to move up much, it requires a disgruntled star and/or close proximity picks.
