why would anyone want to boo a new player who is trying hard regardless of how well he plays? seriously, what good could that possibly accomplish except for making him feel more *****y and pissing the team off? OP, are you from Philly? get some class
Ok..T.Douglas stinks....is he as bad as C.Fortson last yr? Ok..T.Douglas stinks....is he as bad as C.Fortson last yr? Mannnn, that dude right there was terrible.
My two biggest pet-peeves re: fans at games are: 1. Fans that boo their own players just b/c they aren't playing well. Players that are TRYING should never be booed, it's the coaches fault for playing them. Feel free to boo coaches. 2. Fans that cheer player injuries. (mostly at football games)
Hope they don't boo like Knicks fans. Tony was ok shooting in preseason. He just need to get his shots going.
Here's the problem with Douglas last night: 1. He wasn't putting any effort on the defensive side. He wasn't fighting over any screens. Will Bynum, the guy he was guarding, was going nuts. 2. If he can't make shots in games that count, what good is he? He can't play defense and can't make others better. 3. Douglas has not shown any improvement since last season. None. If he actually cared, he would have put some time in the gym, and we would have seen some improvement. 4. This is not the boys scouts. He gets paid millions annually to play a kids game. I expect anyone making that much to do his job. He doesn't have to take over the game. He just needs to hold the fort down.
It's really not just one game, he was hot, I mean STEAMING HOT garbage in NY as well. The man is just not a point guard. He is a shooting guard who can't shoot anymore trapped in a point guard's body is sadly the way to describe him. Please don't boo him though Booing will do nothing but make the Rockets fans look like jerks and it won't help him gain his confidence back
We only boo enemy, OK? Unless our players dont give effort or have some kind of attitude problem. We have to give our own player support and hope they play better.
He played bad last season with Knicks too. That is why he lost his position to baron davis and mike bibby and later lin became a starter.
