This isn't a booing situation. Guy's honestly trying, he just sucks. What you want to do is get a "Play Machado" chant going.

Douglas is bad, but you have to give the guy credit. He really is trying.

Douglas is one of the few guys that is real bad,but you have
to appreciate that he's trying and doesn't bad mouthing his teammates.
    It's painful to hate him.

That's apparently what the Rockets thought in theory per Feigen tweet, but we saw that Harden-Douglas backcourt theory put to practice today and it looked like complete ass. In 9 minutes of Harden-Douglas lineup, Harden had 3 turnovers and the Rockets are -5 (and -9 without Harden).

Machado can't defend NBA players...quick, somebody build a time machine and undo the Livingston waiver!

If the Livingstone decision was purely financial, that was short-sighted of Morey. I do know the Knicks are paying Douglas' salary this year; that was part of the trade deal.

Personally I would love it if we picked up Delonte West. This guy is awesome on the backcourt and he's an excellent 3 point shooter. He'd be a huge upgrade over Douglas.

West is a good guy to have on your team if you're trying to contend and looking for a solid backup.

I'd rather us give Machado some minutes

Maybe but he is a head case. Anytime a player gets cut or suspended from a Dallas team, you know they got issues.

I mean look how long Jason Terry was there, what exactly was West doing to get in trouble with the team because we know it wasn't drugs.

Agree, gotta support all Rockets unless they don't give effort or play selfish to pad their stats, refuse to help, something attitude-wise. TD always has good attitude as far as I can tell, even dating to the NY days when he was getting booed. I feel bad for him. I just don't think he's very good, too small to finish consistently, not a good enough shooter to be a money 3-point specialist, doesn't see the floor well enough to be even an adequate PG, not athletic or savvy enough to be a great defender.

Douglas is Douglas. I root for him, because he's a hard working humble guy. I am pulling for that guy to turn his game around, he had a decent rookie season. An emphatic "no" to booing a player. Maybe the game will slow down for him this season, and if not, I expect McHale to bury him in the bench.

Agree, no booing. Douglas wasn't too bad in his first 2 years, averaging 8.6 & 10.6 pts respectively. He's okay as on-the-ball defender too, though I agree he doesn't have what it takes to be an adequate PG. One can only hope he can at least shoot and defend.

I really like Livingston better than Douglas/Machado; so sad he got waived. :(

Sometimes I download games I couldn't catch (which is always) and boo internally. Especially during the last days of the MerGady era. I also internally booed Weatherspoon and his giraffe neck. In the comfort of my home, of course.
