Do the Spurs draft well or their coaches develop these unknown stars?

    Popovich has the cred to tell players to shutup and play within the system.

    McHale can't do that with Hardon and Dwight.

    The Spurs have $40m worth of roleplayers because their stars take such discount contracts, whilst we have 2 overlapping roles using $17m and the rest of them take up about 9m. Brooklyn beat a lot of teams on the run home with their depth and that's with their best players being unhealthy or just not playing.

    It's really not rocket science why the Spurs depth is so great.
