Watching the Nuggets and Lakers play made me think about this - who all on the Rockets have tattoos and by tattoos, I am talking about visible ones. Those that are on the back or chest (I think Tim Duncan has one like that) don't count.

I am thinking that McGrady, Brooks, and Wafer for sure but I can't really think of anyone else that has visible tattoos. Doesn't Artest have one but it isn't as big as some of the others? I think we may have the least amount of players in the league with visible tattoos.

The Nuggets may be the one team with the most players who have the visible tattoos. 7 of their main 9 guys have them (the only ones who don't seem to have any, at least visible, are Kleiza and Nene).

Sorta mindless thread here but it's the off-season, people are supposed to start boring and mindless threads.

I was watching JR Smith at the free throw line last night and thinking about that- how the Nuggets have so many tattoos, and how the league must be shuddering at the thought of them being in the Finals.

Smith must be addicted to it or something. All the way down his arm and even on his hand...

Are you saying we need more "street cred"?

I guess the tattoos are part of their Chemistry. Just look at Birdman, JR, Carmelo, Jones, Martin, and Billups. Too bad they traded Iverson

The Rockets are probably on the low side if you consider the average % coverage of tattoos per player. That'd be an interesting statistic!

"Is there a direct correlation between tattoos on an athlete and his offensive efficiency?"

    Do it, Morey.

Yao alone probably gives us more square footage of player skin without tattoos than any other team.

Artest has enough street cred for the entire team.

Denver is the most ridiculously tatted up team I have ever seen.

K-Mart and Birdman are particularly bad.

    Those are just ridiculous.

I have one on the back of my neck. I honestly can't imagine how these guys have so much, it hurts badly.

K-Mart has that nasty tattoo of someone's lips on his neck.
Luke Walton's tat is ugly too; looks like stick figures playing bball.
