You can hope the Asik deal makes it too hard to take on the contracts Orlando wants us to take on and we build around Lin, Asik, and the rookies. Otherwise Lamb is probably the first piece of any trade for Dwight or Bynum.
Sure we're all GMs on this board and he values our awesome trades/suggestions. I will be sure to notify him and let him know that a Summer League player trying to make the squad is wanting to keep his competition on the team. I will get right on it!
Are you the real Machado? You might be one of our beloved users on here like Carl Herrera, Pig Miller or Air Langhi that help us remember ex-rockets that barely made a dent in Houston history if you're not the real Machado. If so, welcome.
If you're Daryl Morey, how do you rationalize the following...? 1) Trade Jeremy Lamb as part of a Howard package 2) Jeremy Lamb goes on to have a great Rookie year...and beyond... for a team other than the Rockets 3) We have Dwight for one year. HOORAY! 4) Dwight gives us the finger after the season. 5) Dwight signs with the Brooklyn Nets as a Free Agent. 6) The Rockets are left high and dry with no early draft picks to rebuild upon. Meanwhile, Jeremy Lamb is making perennial All-Star appearances with another team. And the Rockets...we're left wondering what could have been had we just kept Jeremy Lamb/Royce White/Terrence Jones. Kind of like...
Isn't that the purpose of a message board? For people to share ideas and opinions. I'm sure ClutchFans doesn't exist solely so people can cut and paste website links once ESPN or some other media outlet breaks a story.
How do you rationalize the Howard trade falling through because Lamb wasn't included in the deal and he goes on to be the next Donte Green?
