Cops only piss me off in the respect that I get really distracted when I see one while driving. As in I pay more attention to the cops than traffic. As in I might rear end you because I'm too busy paying attention to the cop.
I hate when cops get right behind my ass and ride my tail. It's extremely irritating. Sometimes I'll be coming down 60 or 65 (on the freeway) and just riding along and out of nowhere I see a cop just pulling behind my ass, then I get out of his way and he speeds off (usually going 75 to 80). That's when I let my ego lose and go ahead and speed up almost riding next to the cop. Another thing I hate is when at night I'm just going back home. I'm just going in the little streets, mind you that I usually drive the limit around these streets, then suddenly I just see a cop behind me riding my tail with their lights off. Would it hurt them to turn on their lights? It's really annoying. I really dislike cops. The time I hated the most was when I got stopped at Louisiana and they drugged searched me because I looked suspicious (I had to take a **** so I was movign around a lot). I denied them to search my car since they didn't have a warrant nor was I consenting for them to search. They brought the K-9. Supposedly the dog smelled some narcotics and they had to search all my car. Bunch of assholes. Seriously, I know not all cops are like this, but I dislike them after the things they've done to me.
After reading most of the posts on this thread. I get the feeling that half of you guys already have a strong prejudice against cops. Some of you guys are unwilling to take responsibility for your actions and blame the cop for being an ahole for doing their job properly. Think about this, this many people with this kind of mindset, no wonder why cops are aholes. It's true that there are some bad cops, but there are more good ones than bad. I hate cops so much that they're the first person I call when I get in trouble.
Interesting timing: I just talked to my mom on the phone and she said she got pulled over for a speeding ticket today.
It's 3am and I should be asleep so I'll keep this short. My last 2 experiences have consisted of: 1) I was driving down I10 in the left lane and get pulled over. The cop tells me that I passed him on the freeway so I was going at least 70 (the speed limit was/is 60). I asked him if he had proof of this and he repeated what he said. It was near the end of the month and I figured he was desperate to meet his quota. 2) I was turning right at a red light onto a 3 lane street. I have to almost immediately get over into the left lane to turn into my neighborhood. I pull out, there are cars in the 2 right lanes, so this is perfect. I pull into the far left lane and get pulled over. He said he pulled me over because whenever u make a right turn you have to turn into the far right lane and remain there for at least (i could be wrong on this, I don't remember the exact number) 200 feet. I have more stories, but should probably end it there before I stay up another hour going on and on about my terrible experiences. I do want to say that usually if I get pulled over it is my fault, and I have no problem living up to it. It's when they do things like this that really cause me to lose respect and upset me. Pugs
