Do Condi and Bush Have A Constitutional Right to Start Wars or Invasions?

Even if Clinton was wrong to send the troops around the world, have you noticed the difference in national debt under Clinton and Bush Jr? When you cann't afford it, stop wasting money on elective wars!!!

 

The Republicans raised a sh!tfit about it. Limited US operations in mutliateral peace-keeping missions is different than starting a war for no identifiable reason that requires massive troop commitments and logistical operations.

 

yes, it was. there were loads of conservatives hand-wringing about sending troops into Bosnia, for example.

 

Loads and loads. When they weren't crying about how much perjury was a crime (Kay Bailey is such a tool!), they were crying about "stupid, criminal foreign intervention." Anyone who doesn't remember is either too young, has a selective memory, or just wasn't paying attention.

Maybe they were busy being in love... if that's the case, they are forgiven.

That was the point I was making, Max. On this past Sunday morning "talking head" shows, she said the exact opposite. She's attempted to backtrack a bit, since her '99 quotes grabbed her foot and placed it firmly in her big mouth, but she was the very definition of a hypocrite. She needs to be placed in Webster's.
