AOC has condemned Hamas and never supported them. Why does the right try to hard to create that narrative?

I don't get it. How is that a defense of Hamas as a organization?

To pretend that protests and mob rioting in Gaza is done by only card carrying members of Hamas and that every single person losely affiliated with Hamas is a terrorist is a pretty reductive huh?

Does MLK magically support the morality of riots because he said "riots are the language of the unheard"? An oppressed group of people lashing out in different ways from violent riots to peaceful protests is the comparison here she is making.

No I'm pretty sure it's an organization that is voted in by Palestinians which shows how desperate they are.

So we should really only condemn the real cross-burning church bombers of the KKK, right, not the more loosely affiliated? If you are a member of Hamas, you are a member of a terrorist organization. If you support Hamas, you are a supporter of terrorism. It is pretty simple. I don't care how many schools they also build.
That is certainly the use that quote is put to every time people complain about rioters.

No it isn't pretty simple. Hamas isn't just a terrorist origination. It's a democratically elected political party that runs the government in Gaza. There are many mere employees of the Hamas controlled government that have nothing to do with lobbing rockets.

These analogies are **** merely because they ignore the context and causality of those respective situations. Were members of the KKK the oppressed group living in an open air prison essentially who don't have control of any of their borders, don't have freedom of movement, don't control their own airspace, water, trade of goods. Desperate people do desperate things. Members of the KKK weren't desperate. They did bad things because they felt supurior.

Just think of it in pragmatic terms. The ratio of Palestine to Israeli deaths in this recent conflict was 20 to 1. That's 20 times the friends and family circles that are outraged and will harbor more life long hatred for the other. That's 20 times more easier recruitment material for Hamas vs the IDF.

How much easier is it to radicalize people who lost loved ones and than consider how many more Palestinian deaths exist relative to Israeli deaths and that's how many more times outraged they are because that's how humanity works. Palestinians are more radicalized because more of them have actually have traumatic loses relative to Israeli citizens.

If Israel had no standing military and no ability to attack Palestinian military areas that lack civilians and all they had were rockets that have no guadiance abilities, they too would do the same thing as Hamas. Palestine have far less tools to work with and they have a larger population of people who have more traumatic experiences with this conflict.

That is what puts the onus on the Palestinian people to root out Hamas. Anyone can see what happens when they allow Hamas to collect weapons and launch an offensive against Israel, they get it back 20 fold. They have to come to the realization that this is not a winning strategy. They would be better off storming Hamas offices and strongholds, capturing them, and turning them over to the Israelis. Then they can have peaceful lives free of being used as human shields to launch useless rocket attacks against an enemy that goes back to dancing at the nightclub as soon as the alarms stop going off.

You just don't understand that many members of Hamas are government officials, friends, family members etc of these people. Outraged souls are going to listen to the propaganda of their peers, friends, family members etc over the nation that literally dropped a bomb on their loved one.

How do you not get that?

I get it just fine, but in the end supporting Hamas is not in their interest. They would be better off turning on Hamas and supporting Israel. Sometimes you have to set aside feelings and use logic.

And you have the nerve to question somebody else's brain.

Are you really this ignorant or just try really hard to perform your act.

Hard to believe these interviews are only 80 years old -- perhaps the country should be grateful blacks don't hold more anger towards whites and stop whining when a comment by a black person touches a nerve.

60 people were shot in those protests - protestors who were unarmed yet labeled "violent". The word Hamas didn't come up once in that interview if you watch it. She has never defended Hamas but constantly people create this false narrative that she does.

    No.

They wouldn't be better off supporting Israel.

Hamas and Israel are both terroristic.

Reminds me of the NAZI's and the Communists in Germany in the 1930's.

    Both sides can suck.
