oh please. You should probably not be so quick to assume who you're talking to and whether or not people are big gamblers.

$30 mil contract for Dmo? Only $35? Bump that up to some real money. That's how confident I am that won't happen

He was pretty good when given the chance, the only reason he did not get that chance was because Kevin McHale is a dumbass - and once forced into giving Dmo proper consistent playing time he flourished.

Then, once Howard was in a contract year, and DMo's time was once again inconsistent he, not surprisingly, struggled.

The irony here is that under D'Antoni Dmo will put up great numbers if he just took a one year deal he will get paid next year - but again this is his rodeo.

Why do you hate him so much, the guy is an asset to this team - and offers up a unique skillset that the Rockets can use. I honestly don't get all the ugliness people say about him - I think it has to do with all the arguing on the boards, but that can be avoided, just avoid those threads that talk about him, let people that are interested in him as a Rocket talk about him without bothering the likes of you.

I blame Detroit for this madness that going on in this particular thread. Damn they should have stuck with that freaking trade.

Now we are back to Dmo's going to get his 30+ million.

And we are back to bashing Jones.

    Good job Detroit

Asik was 10 ppg / 11.7 rpg first year as a Rockets (prior to Dwight). I think Morey judged the NBA's #3 leading rebounder just fine, and got exactly what he expected for $8m/yr.

I don't expect someone like that to come through. A lot of people want to portray themselves as someone they're not behind a computer until their bluff gets called

Maybe mr motiejunas is actually motiejunas lol

In a vaccuum, Dmo is worth 10M easily, especially in this market even Kanter got 15M and DMo iMHO is a better player than him. However much like the stock market perception plays a much bigger role than your actual ability, and in this case DMO unfortunately has the "damaged goods" rep ever since Detroit bailed on him and I think this really tanked his stock. Why would you pay 10M PER for a guy who might have chronic back issues? Even worse it seems like the Rox don't need him now, they have Anderson as a starter and Nene, Capela and Harrell can all play PF or C and D'Antoni just plays 8-9 guys max so I think he has no bargaining power which is why the Rox are just waiting him out. We'll see what happens but I don't see DMo getting a good deal.
