Loved D-Mo in the earlier years, but we have more than enough centers on this team. Even if somehow Black, Capela, Nene and Wright are unavailable I prefer to go small-ball before reverting back to D-Mo.

D-Mo provides nothing the Rockets need. He doesn't provide vertical spacing, he doesn't provide spacing in general since he can't shoot reliably, and he isn't much of a rim protector.

I appreciate the passion, but Morey had to be shrewd considering DMo had a bad back, and like you said would probably be average at best. He was matched as RFA, but Morey saw an opportunity to save 6Ms and continue to build the team. DMo became disgruntled and the rest is history. Not sure why an article is necessary to establish guilt. Morey did what he had to do to maintain flexibility. Was it nice? No. Was it done with a mean spirit? No. He matched the offer DMo was given, then traded him where he ended up failing the physical to Detroit. C'mon man this isn't a charity.

he provides an awesome post game, 3pt scoring center and a passing big, it would give us an insane versatility

All I am asking for is one link showing that he settled and he received a windfall from the NBA. I keep reading on this BBS that he settled, but I have yet to see an article about it. I see articles where he was suing. I even saw an article from May 2017 saying he was close to a settlement, but not one article saying he settled.

"This season has definitely not been close to what I wanted to have, or how I wanted to play," Motiejunas said in April. "But it is what it is. I was put in—or I put myself, however you want to look at it—in this situation. I did it to myself. This season was not what I looked forward to.

"It was a tough situation. From one side, I was forced into it. From the other side, it was my choice, too. I cannot blame anyone besides myself about it.

    Plain and simple

I don't want D-Mo back, but is it possible to add a Non-NBA player to the playoff roster after March 1?

I would be happy to see a better big player than Tarik Black, and for him to be waived.

Edit: I wouldn't have asked this if it weren't for Wright's injury history. I hope he can get healthy soon.

As I recall, DMo's tweet (saying media reports were false) was the last thing we heard, with full context best reported here

    http://nba.nbcsports.com/2017/05/14/donatas-motiejunas-denies-suing-rockets/

ducks out of thread--before thread turns into a semantic argument, that we've already been through

    This thread is so pure.

#1 Our brother is not a DMo only fan, he believes that DMo would help the Rockets be better
#2 Our brother is not affected by what ESPN or Fox Sports or what people getting paid to give fake opinions say
#3 Our brother doesn't care about likes, he's gone Hakeem level like 3 times over
#4 You know Our brother will give his true opinion like he's been doing it since 99

I don't think you'll ever see it posted here. Everyone who seems so absolutely certain that there was a settlement has offered zero proof, only vague nonsense about how obvious it is if you know how to read between the lines.

Don't you think my link is the ending of the story though as it references yours with DMo saying "media information is false." Look at the dates and what references what. I recall we all agreed with DMo at the time, that it was over ... we just had no word how it was settled.

The louisiana record link appears way after the fact still linking to the SN story that DMo put to rest. It was probably accurate and all (*shrugs*), at one time .... I just question it's June date, when DMo said 3 weeks earlier it was all over. Sometimes articles are recycled with accuracy, but just late.

But like you say ... shrugs ... still nothing says what the settlement or agreement was.

I agree with you. At this point, no one can really say one way or another what actually happened. If there was a suit, it's most likely scheduled as both parties have not talked about it further.

The agreement was enough to shut DMo's mouth and keep him from pursuing anything further. That should tell everybody.....it was a lot.
