    Yes, the terms of the contract give the team many outs. All of that is pointless because HE SIGNED THE OFFER SHEET. IF YOU WANT YOUR "RIGHTS" DON'T SIGN THEM AWAY.

    Nah, people forget as long as he is producing for the team.

    This has no lasting effect, but it does look like his agent screwed up.

    No idea who their 'staff reporter' is but from the NBA's own website:

    According to league sources, Motiejunas is fighting for his right to remain a free agent and to hopefully sign a larger deal with another team if the Rockets pull back their offer sheet.

    Me thinks its money, maybe BJs thinking is to try and strong arm Morey into tearing up the Brooklyn offer sheet DMO signed to get a new deal.

    If there was a Utah offer... wouldn't there have been also a physical first with them? (Like Brooklyn had before the offer can to DMo's hands) I doubt Utah will also go by the Net's doctors say...

    So he signed an offer sheet from the nets knowing the Rockets would match because it would add up 6 million less then what it would have for the nets and now that the Rockets matched he has got his feelings hurt?. Damn Dmo wow!
