There are certain players in this league that I would completely stop watching my team if they were on it. The entire 04-05 Mavericks team is on that list with the exception of the Corpse of Michael Finley. For some reason I could never completely despise the Corpse of Michael Finley. My list of players that I don't think I could cheer for on my team: Dirk Van Horn Devean Harris Jason Terry Stackhouse Dampier Giriciek Harpring Okur Boozer Nick Collison Devean George Marquis Daniels Josh Howard Kirilenko Darko Bogut Kwame Brown
I would rather add a defensive center to back up Yao. If Deke does not eventually sign with us, it might be a good idea to contact Zo and see how his rehab is going. I heard Zo on radio a few weeks ago saying he wants to get back to playing again. I like Deke but I think if we have a chance to get Zo I would do that over Deke. Zo is more mobile and still has a much more agile body at this stage of his career, and is still a defensive monster when he plays, the only backup center I would rank over Deke when he was healthy and playing.
No, no way..... our team is struggling to find its chemistry on offense as it is..... Stack would just make it worse. Morey is too intelligent to ever put Stackhouse on this team.....
