Yes, under all circumstances G. Wallace is 10x better than Ariza. G. Wallace's defense is better, he is a better rebounder, and he is a WAY more efficient scorer. I would be pleased if we got GW. I also like Caron Butler, Chris Bosh, Iggy, and Dalembert. Lots of options, I'm excited to see what DM does.

I like the McGrady for Caron Butler + fillers, or Iggy and Dalembert trade. Then trading Ariza or Battier, Scola, and Brian Cook to Toronto. I trust that DM will do the trade that is best for the team, whether it is the blockbuster I'm hoping for or not.

hey guys first post i think the sig of his is a definate clue, "the houston cavemen"???? i mean,that makes no sense at all, but given his trade maybe since he bolded the cavemen it means something. the first thing that went through my head was Roy and Oden, and also AL jefferson and also prince,. Grizzly Adams had a beard. (so does Baron Davis) think you might be onto something with the sig thing. I like the crypticness of all this. most likely nothing, but it's fun. I don't think the old Baron Davis and Camby deal is necessarily a good one for Houston, but Baron could fit the former all star who still has some miles left that Morey mentions. Maybe the Clippers have decided to throw in the towel this year now that Griffin is done??? (doesn't Kaman have a beard too???) I really hope this isn't where Morey is taking us...
Well Rip does fill the "legit 2 guard" reference the OP made. And a team consisting of the current team + Rip + Yao might just be good enough to win a championship as the pieces fit each other so well.
Why is everyone hatin on Ariza?? Did yall expect him to go out and putt up 25 plus points per game or something? Personally I think he has done pretty good considering this is his first year that anyone had ANY expectations for him! Sure he's not an elite scorer but he never will be! He is supposed to be a 3rd or 4th leading scorer on his team! Therefor if we can get Yao back and somehow get Bosh and/or Iggy/Caron butler/Gareld Wallace, Ariza could play the role he's meant for!
Almost all rumors on posted on this board turn out to ultimately be false. A notable exception was Yao's season-ending injury in the midst of our 22 game win streak. But unless you state the goods, I just don't buy it.
