Meaning Houton is mentioned quite often and Boston is not. Said nothing about the 2 other teams just said that there is 3 teams involved.
Im not going to address the verisimilitude of this thread or the thread starter, but while reading it I was struck with how many of you are still stuck in the whole "SG is totally different than SF" way of thinking. In Adelman's offense, like JVG before him, both positions are somewhat interchangeable. In todays NBA, a swingman should be able to handle either position. So, in other words....I doubt very seriously that either Morey or Adelman are going to shoot down a deal simply because the player is not listed as a SG
there are certain players that we aren't particularly interested in watching attempt to create, distribute, or take a fairly large amount of shots...
I don't have a clue how you gathered that. Why would we be the team he's talking about as being the team mentioned quite often??? I can see how Boston fits as the team not mentioned previously though.
I have cracked trades before and the deal i see from what i interpret is in overall sence a good deal for all teams actually, but we would get the best players without given up Brooks/Landry/Lowry. Bosh/Iggy/Rondo/Dalembert anyone lolz? I'm under the impression that if Philly has to give up Speights than they'll want to move him with Brand and this is why Ariza is included to sweeten the deal for Toronto and Hayes to Boston in exchange for Rondo at the expense for Dalembert contract. Scola/Battier/Ariza/Speights to Toronto see and Brand to Boston for Wallace/Perkins/Scalabine/McGrady to Philly i'll keep my fingers crossed untill then lolz.
I didn't read through the whole thread but i noticed no one mentioned Rip Hamilton who is actually in the picture posted if im not mistaken.
dude, im not an idiot, i know who Wallace and Prince are.......and i have been wanting Wallace to be a Rocket for years now....but take a look next to Raja bell......i believe that is rip that is cut out of the pic....if not my bad. ...im just saying....a clue?
I don't think Rip or Prince will blow our minds or w/e that the OP stated. Even Wallace is a stretch to blow us away. We'll just have to play the waiting game...
Apart from the fact that everyone on the forum can post a similar thread, why would Bobcats trade away Wallace? They could make the playoffs for the first time ever this season with their current team.
The bbs used to have real insiders. Now its just the person that posts the once a week "insider" post, or bleacherreport crap. No offense to StevieRebel, but he is also regarded as an insider now, and I have never seen anything tangible to prove that other than his own words.... I believe Clutch and thats about it.
Same here, but problem is Clutch doesn't post much anymore - and he sure doesn't post rumors that are made available to him. Ah, I think we all come here for this kinda crap.....just enjoy it for what it is.
I'm not interested in G. Wallace or the other 2. I also do not want anyone from Indiana except for Granger, and that is highly improbable. Larry Brown probably wants Landry and possibly Luis if he can't get the former.
AroundtheWorld- Never see you post anymore, loved the Sir Jackie days (when you posted more often). A lot of the good old posters have moved on or stopped posting all together. Im asking the same. If its something I missed, or Clutch will vouch for him, than ok. But I never saw that if it happened. But I really hope we do something soon.
Tough crowd Gerald Wallace brings what the Rockets need, Scoring, Athleticism, and Shotblocking. Still don't see why Bobcats would trade Wallace though.
How can yall be so greedy? I understand the OP said a deal that would blow our minds and although Wallace wouldn't blow our minds, how can you not be interested in acquiring him especially if we send Ariza away?
Thanks for the kind words. I guess after this post you will wish that I would post less...I think I figured out the trade the OP is hinting at! Successful Trade Scenario Congratulations on a successful trade. Due to Houston, New Orleans, Philadelphia and Toronto being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Houston, New Orleans, Philadelphia and Toronto had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
