Pistons only work in a 3-way, and only if they put their 1st into the trade pot. Tay is bad-backed and unknown longer term prognosis. Rip can still ball, but at his age with his contract... I don't know if the guy knows of what he (doesn't) speak, but haven't we all been agog with anticipation of something, or some things, ahappenen'?
Houston McGrady, Budinger -----> Detroit Detroit Hamilton -----> Houston Prince -----> Charlotte Charlotte Wallace -----> Houston something like this?
Larry Brown used to coach Tayshaun and I guess he must like him. Plus Charlotte are in a bad shape financially. Didn't they trade Okafor who was on a very long contract for Chandler whose contract expires in 2011? Tayshaun will come off the books in 2011 too.
Gerald and Prince are nice, but they aren't the type of scoring wings we need. Neither are pure shooters to me. Prince may be by a stretch. Gerald does have a history with Rick though, so that might be a plus. However, isn't his salary horrendous? Aussie...where's the Big we need? Brendan Haywood and Tough Juice for Tmac and JT?
Charlotte is playing really good lately. They would make the playoffs for the first time in team history. I don't think they are looking to make their team worse.
Right. Unless the guy has some way of insuring what he knows through the board in advance (e-mailing Clutch makes perfect sense and he can say the fellow was right if "it" works out) and someone else has a way of saying he was on the level and it just didn't work out (one of our "inside" sources... not this guy), then with all due respect to Mr. Aussie_Fozzey, this thread is a joke. I would have said crap instead of joke, but I'm trying to be polite here.
Wallace is the one that make's most sense. Aussie hinted that it would take another piece than Tmac, and I doubt Prince is that valuable. G-Force is a Morey type of player imo by the fact he is an undervalued perenial-star and he hustles etc etc you know the game.
Aussie could be right about this one. http://www.morningjournal.com/articles/2010/01/17/sports/doc4b529c10e9854236111606.txt
However, Aussie also said a 3rd team will be involved, and since Charlotte and Detroit have not been linked with us recently for McGrady, its either of the following: Philly, Chicago, Sacramento, New York. I doubt Sac town is in there, possibly Chicago that would send Hinrich to Charlotte?
