I'm having a hard time believing some of this. Clutchfans is a place where the fans come, and share their inside info, Rocket sightings, Rockets related articles, etc. I highly doubt by you passing on some inside info without being so cryptic, that you would face and consequences. Reporters, Clutch, Doc Rocket, and many others have done it numereous time in the past. I just dont understand the hesitation to share with the board. Seems like too much of a game, you are playing to actually take it serious. Maybe if you can clarify a bit more, then you could actually become one of the most respected posters on the board. I'm interested to hear what you have to say, but I think you can understand the doubt untill you at least take your info a step forward. Thanks.
I agree, and I don't remember Doc Rocket or Clutch beeing flammed or blammed when they were wrong in the past (Amare deal or "...and so I digress"). If you share your info and it goes down, then you become well respected, if it doesn't, then no biggie, atleast you shared it with us..

Hijacking of the board isnt cool. I'm not totally dismissing his odd cryptic message, but if your going to give hints, why not just spell it out. Seems so bizzare, the way he is going about it. Why not just say, "Hey guys, cant name my source, but I heard we might be getting _________ and __________, and could possibly trade _________ away." At this point I am almost more interested in why he cant say more than I am about the trade. Does Morey have Aussie overlord connections that kick in doors, rape your family, and kill your Roo's? Its just weirder than weird. But I'm interested for him to drop at least another clue, in the form of clarity on the situation.
After reading that article, it doesn't sound to me like he'd be willing to come here and if he did, would he stay after expiration of his contract? He says repeatedly "I want to win". He is on the Suns already, a team that's not worse than us and possibly a bit better....so what's the upside for him here? I'm not trying to slam the Rockets at all, but am being realistic as to what he would think of an offer from the Rockets. Sidenote: He sounded a bit high on himself.

No to the Aussie overlord connections (cool to contemplate though), but I'd be willing to bet that the connection Aussie has would get into significant trouble if it (trade being worked out) came out far in advance of it happening. Person could lose his/her job and possibly have trouble finding employment in the NBA ever again for blowing the secrecy of something this important to the franchise that they work for. If this were a friend or relative of mine, I wouldn't risk it.
