If all teams in their respective divisions were grouped together and the best players taken to form a team, which team would be the best? ATLANTIC PG: Kidd, Marbury, Mike James SG: Iverson, Carter, AI2 SF: Pierce, Jefferson PF: Webber, Frye C: Bosh (otherwise they'd have no one to play center), Dalembert Coach: Lawrence Frank CENTRAL PG: Billups, Hinrich SG: Redd, Hamilton, Gordon SF: L.James, Tay Prince, Noci PF: J.O'Neal, R.Wallace, Gooded C: B.Wallace, Z Coach: Flip or Rick C. SOUTHEAST PG: Arenas, Felton SG: Wade, Joe Johnson SF: Jamison, G.Wallace PF: Howard, Okafor C: Shaq Coach: Pat Riley PACIFIC PG: Nash, Cassell, B.Davis, Bibby (rediculous depth!) SG: Kobe, Richardson, Mobley, Bonzi SF: Artest, Marion, Odom, Maggette PF: Brand, Amare C: Kaman, Diaw Coach: Phil Jackson SOUTHWEST PG: Paul, Parker, Terry SG: Manu, Des. Mason SF: TMac, Josh Howard, Battier, Bowen PF: Duncan, Dirk, Gasol C: Yao Coach: Pop NORTHWEST PG: Dre Miller, Deron Williams SG: Ray Allen SF: Melo, AK47, Rashard Lewis PF: Garnett, Boozer C: Camby, Okur Coach: Jerry Sloan _________________________________________________ I think it would be a Central vs Southwest matchup in the end. Central has toughness (detroit players) Post Scoring (O'neal, wallace) and ofcourse, the King. The Southwests lineup is huge but lacks in the three-ball department, but the depth at PF is rediculous. It's hard to pick for me, i think the Cebtral's three point shooting and defense would be hard to overcome, in a seven game series i think i'd take Central, they have too much balance.
Southwest. They'd look even better if you slid Dirk to the 3 and T-Mac to the 2. PG: Paul, Parker, Terry SG: TMac, Manu, Des. Mason SF: Dirk, Josh Howard, Battier, Bowen PF: Duncan, Gasol C: Yao Coach: Pop That's a starting lineup.
Exactly, I would also take out Desmond Mason for Eddie Jones, Michael Finley or Mike Miller, they can shoot!
The SW would win easy. Athough I would change the lineup. PG Parker or Paul SG TMac SF Dirk PF Duncan C Yao Thats rediculous. Also dont forget about Bowen. He can hit the three and is a lock down defender.
Pacific would put up a good fight though, depending on how well nash and kobe mash ;p Still southwest is too stacked
Pacific if you changed the lineup. PACIFIC PG: Nash, Bibby, Cassell SG: Kobe, Richardson, Mobley, Bonzi SF: Artest, Marion, Maggette PF: Brand, Odom C: Amare, B. Miller, Diaw Coach: Phil Jackson Nash running the pick and roll with Amare and Brand, Artest and Marion to defend and take care of the intangibles, and Kobe provides enough scoring to take pressure off the post and take the game winners.
