That's what happens when you have unfettered 'freedom', people tend to take it too far. Permissiveness is a disease, much like extremism (in any form) is...
I clicked on that thinking well it's still up on YouTube so it must be something with a logical explanation -- it appears my assumption was very much incorrect. I made it to the first kiss on the cheek before ending the creep fest. Reading other posts -- there is nothing satire, comedy, etc. that could somehow justify that video. The poor kid, I guess he is an adult now - how humiliating for him.
maybe i'm missing a cultural aspect , but the kissing esp. has to be disturbing to anyone. why didnt the audience seem to mind
The first kiss on the cheek seemed like an innocent kiss a father might give a son. After that, very bizarre. Appalling for Americans, but I wonder how Europeans would view it. The audience didn't seem to mind. Maybe to them it's just sort of controversial but funny as well? Is it possible that the kid is actually an adult who just looks like a child?

ok, finally took a look at it, just fast forwarding through. There is no excuse for that kind of behavior. It was clearly meant to imply something in several ways. And the audience just going along with it... that's what really disturbs me. Nothing cute about traumatizing children for life.
OK... ya'll are making a huge effin' deal about this. Dudes... relax. Let Europeans be Europeans. Oh, it's REAL all right. Different country. Different TV station. Different "show." Ya'll United Statesians think anything that the Civil Liberties Union b*tches about is "wrong" or "indecent" or "abuse". I can deduct from the music and the audience reaction that this is a father singing with a son, and that he is showing him affection in public, playing around with him, etc. (ok, the face on the crotch thing is a bit too much). This kind of stuff that you all call "abuse" and "pedophile" stuff might be OK in their country... I know it won't fly in United Statesian TV. They allow it in their country, and we don't here in the 'States. So be it. Don't be calling for "I hope they put this filthy scumbag in jail" when you don't know how their culture is. Don't go to their country to try to change their culture. If he's doing this on TV, and no one stopped him or no one did anything to prevent it, there's the evidence if one of those kids ever says he molested them. The kid looks like he's used to that dude doing that to him... (not that it's completely right, but it's another freakin' country... you know?) Yeah, I agree... you can show affection to a child, but not THAT much. That much is true. Relax... Question: Do you all kiss your kids or your parents, still? Well, I guess that's for another thread...
