At this point, not funny. Humor has it's place. But this ain't it.

this isn't funny, and sarcastic quips aren't appreciated.

I hope no one's hurt, or killed. Things can still be bad, but there's just way too much loss of life these days.

Rockhead and Corbe are the only ones kidding. Channel 2 is reporting police barricade and response to shots fired at Eddie Griffin's home.

I don't think this is a joking matter myself.

I wish we were. It is true. I turned to channel 2 and they have mentioned it 3 or 4 times but won't stay with the story.

Is there a report about this on the web? Someone please post a link if you can find one.

FYI, these paragraphs below are taken from the "ESPN: Griffin Suspended Indefinitely thread". With talk of GUNFIRE at the Griffin house and the talk for waving a GUN in the paragraphs below, makes you wonder!

Once again, it is not a joke. I saw it on Channel 2.

This is not a joke... but I am making jokes, funny or not. If you were at work, you'd be making jokes too... I'm stuck at work while MAJOR Rockets news is plastered over the airwaves and I have no TV...

Once again, this is not the time to be making jokes, regardless of whether you are at work or not.

    Just so everyone doesn't wonder...

Channel 2 (KPRC) in Houston is reporting that police responding to shots fired at the Sugar Land home of Houston Rockets forward Eddie Griffin have blocked off an area of the street surrounding his house.

No further details are available at this point.

For those not from Houston, Sugar Land is an affluent suburb in Fort Bend County about 30 minutes to the southwest of Houston. Many athletes live in that part of town because of the low tax rate in Fort Bend County as opposed to Harris County which contains the majority of the Houston area.
