thats what i was thinking. $250 is pretty cheap by pro-athlete standards.

and rockets2k...even though i was joking, apparently my assumption was correct and you were wrong, so "dont comment about stuff that you know absolutely nothing about." boo-ya!

    OMG!!!
His house is very close to where I used to live. About 3 miles. I remember walking by that area everyday I went to High School. (I went to Elsik)
Anyways this whole thing seems too strange.

My money is on the shooting thing being a fix. I live in a neighborhood similar to Shadowlakes and if I heard shots next door, you bet your ass I'm calling the police. I thought maybe it could have been muffled if it was indoors, but if the shell casings are outside?

    Something is fishy in Denmark.

Very Good point, in the my part of shadowlakes which should be like where he lives the houses are really close to each other there is no way a gun shot could go off in the house and you not hear it next door. My neighbor had a glass break and i could hear it upstairs in my room and the window was all the way on the other side of their house. They way they are built you would easily hear it if not echo through the few houses around it. Too many holes in the story.

Especially when people pay that for 1200 sf 2 bedroom houses in Austin.

Even though there might not be shots. It is quite clear it is a domestic violence case. EG may still go to jail because of that.

Gotta tell ya, I have been wondering the same thing. Something is not quite right. EG is too young, dumb and impressionable to be dealing with that kind of business. A little overwhelming.

Now, how are the Rox gonna deal with it, is what I'm wondering. They have basically 6 days to decide on what's what with Eddie. It was tough enough to include him in trade talks but now?

I hope the kid's all right, but I hope the Rockets will find a solution for the rotation.

If he keeps this up, will the Rocket's be allowed to cut ties with him?

I take that as an indication that EG does not want to be arrested...

If that house is sold is is as a teardown, as it has a 9000 sq/ft lot. Also, alot of people who aren't pressed for time will put their house on the market for some idiotic price in case there's an idiot out there willing to pay.

For reference HCAD has the tax bill broken down to $10,000 for the house and $350,000 for the land.

look people....eddie griffins lawyer is rusty hardin, one of the best lawyers in houston....plus he could say he just shot in the air...which would be a misdemeanor offense (discharching a firearm)...and this happened at his house so he has the right to do anything he wants if he feels he is being threatened or if she stole any of his properties....so i doubt anything really bad will happen to him and his career is not over...so quit sweatin it

I see...but still...Eddie's been disappearing a lot lately. Just too mysterious. But this scenario just doesn't sound right.
