Hey, I live in a nice house where my mom makes me breakfast and my dad takes care of the lawn. But the good news is, I have the whole upstairs to myself. BTW, am hardly rich. Eddie paid a whole hell of alot more for his house than I did mine. The Chron said $266,000. Thats pretty low for a millionair athlete's house. Eddie is living with commoners!! heh
Yeah the houses in shadowlakes only go up to about $350,000 the Royal Oaks which is right next to us goes from $300,000 to $3 Millions where some of the other players live.

Actually you are completely wrong. I have lived in Alief Pretty much all my life and the reason they are next to each other is this. Hastings was the only high s hool they had back when alief was small then they built a second school elsik which is now known as Hastings South. At one time they were basically the same school just different names. When ALief grew in size they completly made a new school for Elsik which has 2 sides Elsik North and South much like Hastings North and south. Hastings South was basically Elsik way back when then when they built a complete new Elsik with a north and south they turned that into Hastings South. And the two schools are connected with an Annex that all the elective courses and upper level classes are located. They did that to conserve money by not building a new stadium, nadatorium and baseball fields. And as more people started moving to the suburbs they started building 9th grade schools as well as other high schools to take care of the students.

Do any of you recall Ralph Wiley's (ESPN 2, I believe) article last year (prior to the pot bust) mentioning that Eddie was running with a rough crowd and should be careful? I would hope that the Rockets would have kept closer tabs on such a big investment. I know he's an adult, but he's so young and there are a lot of dubious people out there that see people like Eddie with dollar signs in their eyes. All basketball stuff aside, I wish this young man the best and hope he gets his life together.
