Who's the best currently available PF in the league? Will the Rockets get any kind of exception if EG is in the Klink?

i just sent 5 trade proposals on my fantasy team.... eddie G for Austin Croshere, sad, but ill take anything for Eggie... i still hope the cops figure out that his girl is lying...
If the girlfriend is lying, it should be pretty easy to figure it out. I don't care how "bad" she is(and were only going on rumors and one ESPN snippet regarding her character at this point), there is no excuse for assault and gunfire. If the early reports are true, then he is an idiot and doesn't give a crap about his kid.
This confirms my previous belief that America has the most f*cked up child custody laws (or whatever it's called). I've been one of EG's biggest critics but right now I just hope he's alright.
Or, he could be an idiot who gives a crap about his kid. It's not mutually exclusive, especially if he's young, immature and has some issues "upstairs". That could describe this woman as well. Right now, all we have is conjecture.
okay yesturday or the day before,some poster said I quote "i hope he doesnt go ray curruth on her" That posters comments are very eery now. Whats even more amazing(and im not trying to boost my credit here) is that I was thinking the same exact thing yesturday and this morning . I was thinking he was trying to force a trade,but If i was wrong then Eddie might go curruth on her. Damn this sucks. Eddie is crazy. He doesnt act crazy until now. Kinda feel like crying now.
ok, what was maybe not a distraction to the team at first has just NOW become a MAJOR DISTRACTION with a capital D. I can already hear the daily Eddie Griffin questions Van Gundy and the team must face from the local and national media. This team does not need that right now. But i dont think The Rockets cannot cut him now, they could of before this, but if they kick him to the curb now, they will look bad and for doing so. Their really in a no win situation. This Eddie Griffin saga will be a distracting story throughout the season.
imo it is. Assaulting and shooting at the mother of your child can do nothing but hurt the kid's situation, esp if the mother is bad. I don't care what "issues" he'd have upstairs, unless he's mentally r****ded, it's not that hard to figure out.
This smells of a set-up to me. If shots were fired, maybe the girl's brother did the shooting. With an attorney as good as Rusty Hardin, they better have photos of him shooting if they want a conviction (unless they can test for residue on Eddie's hand, etc.).
I don't think it would look bad on them if he actually did try to shoot the woman. I applauded the Astros for shipping Lugo's ass out to Tampa Bay after his spousal abuse to his wife. I'm relieved to hear that he didn't hurt anyone, and am glad his shot with the gun is no better then his shot with a b-ball. Cut him, ship him, the guy is bad news.
too much speculation we don't even know if griffin really shot at her griffin could have a psycho woman on his hands and she had shot at him but reported the opposite to try and remain innocent like the article said, it was he said, she said or it could be that simply griffin really did screw up big time, but it's better to just wait before making decisions
Wow. Too early for any kind of conclusions...this could be the ( hopefully) final chapter of the sad demise of Eddie as a ROcket saga, or it could be the first real evidence we have of the kind of troubled situation Eddie has been in lately, thereby explaining, if not excusing his recent actions. Or it could be both, or neither...it's way too early to call anything except for the fact that Eddie's life is very, very difficult right now.
man i feel real bad for eddie. this chick is obviously a money grubbing ho who is straight up trash. i think eddie is depressed over this whole situatution which has caused him to act so erratic the past year. hopefully he will get his life together and this woman will get what she deserves....nothing good.
Man! Can you imagine the look on EG's face if the cops find him and want to take him in for questioning for something he knows nothing about!? I really hope he's not involved! That would be a waste for EG. It makes me wonder why she would do something like this considering that he's her meal ticket. Why would she want to end his NBA career?
