They set him up in Loki. I thought Jonathan Majors did a good job acting as the new big bad guy. Maybe I'm too critical but I thought the writing of the show was frustrating, sloppy, and inconsistent. The idea behind the show was potentially a grand slam but executed in a poor fashion.
