    LOL

TV and movies are as good as ever (tv the last 20 years is the literally the best it has ever been). But there is literally a platform for anyone that wants to make anything in 2020. There is infinitely more content out there, which increases the amount of crap exponentially. There is absolutely not a lack of talent. There is just a lack of barriers to getting anything made.

The Muppets are also still creepy AF

Warning labels aren't necessary, they also don't matter and won't stop anyone from watching the show. Disney is covering their ass.

Harm done with warning labels = 0.
Maybe they will spark meaningful conversation between parents and any young kids who want to watch The Muppets.

If they're used educationally, which is my hope, then it's a good thing.

Agreed that is the possible plus side. And there is no minus side to it all.

Zero bad effects from the warning and possible positive ones. Likely no effects at all. I love the Muppets and don't care about the warnings except to be happy that people are aware and taking steps to address these issues.

They didn’t want an incident like Speedy Gonzales where wb took out the cartoons because of fear with backlash among Mexicans only to have backlash among Mexicans due to the dearth of legit Hispanic characters. Many looked beyond the stereotypes and made Speedy a beloved character.

Definitely CYA and it beats reshooting or redubbing borderline pc voices or jokes...Something also tried with cartoons like Tom and Jerry. Tom’s owner went from stereotypical big mama into a white lady
