I am finishing up an MBA this semester and as a result, I am taking business policy (last class). We were talking about Disney about a week ago about how they have sorta lost their focus because of all the problems that were created/caused by Eisner. What No Worries said about Pixar is just one of many (or so I have been told, I really don't keep up with stuff like that to say much more). Although I find myself at times wanting children, I for the most part am glad that I don't have any. And it is stuff like this that makes me feel this way. I would be so frustrated right now, like No Worries, if I had a kid and he wanted to see something but couldn't because that is how a company "drives up demand" for its products.
Manny, I found the Toy Story DVDs used, no problem. They were both mostly priced at $20+ at half.ebay.com and amazon marketplace. At that price I would want to get new ones, but the used DVDs were at that price for a reason.
Well that is good to hear. But it is still frustrating that you would have to go that route - it shouldn't be like that.
don't let Disney's decision to release or not release DVDs play too big a role in your decision to have children!
damn, MadMax...your kid eats dog treats? I didn't know lawyers had it so tough these days... ...and to show you how much of a dumbass Michael Eisner is, he actually fired one of the people that came up with Lost and Desperate Housewives...
That's a Happy Meal bag, I swear. http://www.mcdonalds.com/usa/ronald/happy.html Here is a better picture of the Happy Meal box: like father like son
Doesn't someone eventually want them back? :s I am betting that we will be watching Toy Story 2 (on TiVo) for the next 3 months or so.
haha... don't count on it... they probably won't appreciate any parental effort until they are out of college.
