I realize they're called the Criminoles for a reason, but isn't this typical teen behavior? Who hasn't mouthed off to a rent-a-cop at the mall? Or tried picking up girls -uh loitered- in front of the arcadium? If this ends up in the Debate forum so be it.
Well theres really not that much to do in Orlando, Really.. Aside from Disney World and Universal Studios, the place is DEAD. I was bored off my ass when I went there a few years ago at the age of 21. Honestly, I can't imagine living there. After a day of walking around the theme parks I wanted to grab some beers and check out the nightlife but the scene down there is non existant. Maybe I was misinformed, but when we asked the locals where the "downtown" was, and they directed us towards "Disney downtown", which was not what we had in mind. We ended up settling for some neighborhood sports bar that night .
I guess it has more to do with them just hanging out, which is something that Disney clearly doesn't want. DD
That's right! "Beat it, LOCALS! We only want International tourists!" Sincerely, M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E what statistics are you talking about? Nobody's reading this story? "...refused to leave when Disney security told them to" and "...they failed to cooperate..." is pretty clear to me. Jeez, man, respect the law. I don't care if you're green or blue, you say: "YES, SIR" to an authority figure and obey. You bring up the case with someone else AFTER that, not during. Don't be stupid... listen to the officer.
they had no valid reason to make them leave. if i pay the ungodly amount of money it costs to hang out at disney i will stand where I please. as long as it isn't obstructing business. and yes we did read the story, look at the statistics. did you read the story.
I thought loitering was what you did at disney. Often they call it a 'line-up' -- but basically you're still standing around for ungodly amounts of time doing basically nothing. Guess these boys won't be saying "I'm going to Disneyland" when they win the superbowl...
Pgab, This is downtown disney it is free...........it is not in the park per se, but on the grounds. DD
45 of 46 is pretty damning. Even if it's not intentional...disney brass should be addressing that before their lawyers have to.
An ex of mine got married and moved to Orlando in 2004. She absolutely hates it. She calls it Borelando.
I'm going to WDW next week with the kidos...Never been and can't wait....I'll make sure I stay away from the gang activity...
