If you have Verizon unlimited, you can get Disney+ free for a year.

Definitely geared more towards kids, but I have enjoyed it so far. The 4K HDR/Dolby VIsion content is great. Having some of the old shows that I saw growing up as a kid def worth re-watching.

What I would like to see improved/changed after a few weeks of having the service:
    • Don't have placeholders for movies that will be available on disneyplus (National Treasure, Solo, Last Jedi) in the future
    • Convert all their movies to 4K HDR when possible
    • Fix the Simpsons aspect ratio (which I heard they are doing)
    • More original content that isnt always geared towards kids/family -- like Mandalorian but maybe the Marvel shows and all. It seems all the original content at launch outside of Mandalorian was primarily kids/family

If my kids were still kids, I'd be all over Disney+. Cheaper than a babysitter. Plunk the young ones down in front of Sleeping Beauty or 101 Dalmatians and you and the wife have over an hour to do what you want. Now that my kids aren't kids, I see no reason to get this.

You can do this with Youtube now, and it’s free. No ‘classic’ movies there but thousands of hours of kid-centric material. Where do you think Baby Shark came from?

I canceled it. Watched Togo, Lady and the Tramp, and The Manalorian and called it a day.

I don't watch anything on it, but I can't get rid of it since the kids love it. Be careful what you start.

4 y/o currently going through the Avengers Assemble cartoon. She has also gone through pretty much all of the princess movies a few times. And there are multiple Tinkerbell movies that she is all about.

So yeah. Good app for kids. For adults? Probably good to have for 1-2 months and then cancel; then do it again for another couple months in a year or so.

I have the non-Hulu, non-ESPN package, and I just upgraded to yearly. With all of these announced shows, they're going to start bumping up prices soon.
