I will probably try to do the same soon - maybe thanksgiving have a marathon of the original trilogy. I've been watching bits and pieces of various movies to see how the quality of the 4k DV would be streaming and they've all exceeded my expectations.

I'd like them to put back the audio commentaries for The Simpsons. They were on the FXNow app.

I didn't know that I never used the FXNow app. I read FX did revert older episodes back to 4:3 after the outcry when they cropped and converted them to 16:9. Hopefully Disney does the same. For now I am sticking with my DVDs for the glory years

To read the ESPN+ articles on ESPN.com, do you have to use the mobile app? Because it will not allow me to do it from a computer web browser. Just keeps showing links to subscribe to ESPN +.

So after a few days, I see no real reason to keep the service beyond my trial right now.

There's a ton of great movies, but it's all stuff I've seen. I already own all the Star Wars and Marvel movies. Outside of the big name films and old kids shows with some nostalgia value, the depth of content if really lacking. There's all sorts of crap dropping regularly on Netflix. Started watching season 3 of the Toys that Made us yesterday.

Right now I'm literally just paying for the Mandalorian, and I can wait until it's done and binge. I'm sure Disney is aware of this and will keep adding, but as of right now there's no reason to open up Disney plus to "see what I might find" like there is on Netflix.

If Hulu was ad free, I’d likely jump on it. I hate ads. One of the things I like about Google Fiber is the terabyte I have to record things on. Most of the time, I whiz through the commercials. The exception is Rockets games, unless I’m pulled away for some stupid (sorry, SO!) reason. What I really hate is NBATV. GF doesn’t carry it, and I hate the idea of paying more than a couple of bucks for it (which is what I paid RoadRunner/Spectrum before GF was put in our neighborhood).

    Since we’re talking streaming/TV for a moment, I haven’t signed up for Disney+ yet. How’s The Mandalorian?

People keep telling me Hulu is worth it for cord cutters. . . because all shows come on there anyway
but if you keep cable maybe not

Sign up for Hulu-Ad free separate. Then signup for the Bundle using the same email. $12.99: $5.99 (hulu credit) $7.00 + .58 (tax) = $7.58 for Disney+ bundle. Hulu ad-free is $12.72 with tax. So, your total will be $20.30 for bundle instead $12.99+ tax for the normal bundle. However, by signing up for Hulu separately first then adding it to the bundle, you get more streams of Hulu, instead of just one.
