Someone should start a new thread to get the word out for those of us who tried to wait it out or perhaps a MOD can [UPDATE - Deal Reached] the thread title?

Good deal. Glad you didn't give those AHs your business.

One week ago, I paid $100 cancellation + $30 to return the equipment + I will have to pay $40 for handy man to take off the dish, patch the holes and paint --on the second story---$170 when all said and done.

I have comcast now and I'm happy that I didn't miss any games, I'm happy that I won't have any more weather outages!!!!

I got an email from dish today that Fox and dish reached an agreement. Dish says they want me back. Well, kiss my azz - I'm not going back - ever. I don't care if they refund all of my expenses - I'm staying with comcast!

Thank you for the link it actually made me happy.

I was hoping dish would agrees with fox sports because in the end they both something to gain from the agreement.

    Thank you again

Karma is a BIATCH!!!! Comcast sports is not currently being carried on DTV. In 2/3 years time, I can see DTV being raked over the coals by Comcast...just the way DTV screwed Dish.

    Ain't life GRANDE.

Because the Astros/Rockets just announced that they are leaving Fox Sports to create thier own network. Rockets are leaving in 2 years, the Astros in 3 years.

By DTV, do you mean DirecTV? If so, it does have Comcast SportsNet. Look through Channels 600-700. Dish Network also carries Comcast Sportsnet.

If in Houston, should be on My20 and not on FSN.

On games on FSN, usually never an exact channel, but somewhere in the 400's (like 444).
