I live about 90 miles east of Houston. When I set it to record it said that it was not available in my area. It would not allow the recording. If it actually played live, I dont know because I was at work. Somehow, that would make it even worse. I think.

Well, the game on Wednesday was on FSN also. The game on Saturday is supposed to be on FSN and NBATV.

don't know what issue do they have. cablevision are dropping FOX due to contract dispute.

as i wrote before, FOX is the reason dishnetwork customers can't watch games. i have a feeling in near future all other providers will have contract dispute.

You're probably right, just depends when the individual cable companies contracts expire with Fox. Dish also dropped the MSG sports channel that covered the Knicks and Rangers games.

That is an outrageous increase but I am not getting what I watch from Dish so I am going to look for someone else.

Just ordered Directv, Cancelled on Dishnetwork, broke my early termination contract fee, so Im guessing im going to have to pay atleast 200 bucks for breaking the contract, my question is should I pay for this or did they break there end of there contract too buy not giving me the channel I signed up for? Im leaning towards not paying for the contract fee.

I think what happens is that they will just show another Fox station that is not owned by Murdoch's company, that is what happened in Austin, we got the Waco channels...sucked for the news, but we still got all the shows.....

Maybe they can pick up the Beaumont feed, do they show the Rockets games?

    What about Victoria?

Most likely it'll go into collections. Your credit will be impacted. It's up to you.

it will stay on your credit record for 7 years they have 4 years to collect from you and that includes taking you to court and getting a judgment against you and a lien on your property if you have a house. Most people don't even show up at court. If you show up at court and explain why you defaulted a lot of times the judge will dismiss or reduce the penalty. The companies count on you not showing up.
    Good luck.

Seems like it's going to get worse before it gets better...

The 2 sides are still nowhere close to agreeing. Now Fox is threatening to pull the regular Fox channel on November 1st if Dish Network doesn't give in. That means no World Series, no NFC Football or any other Fox show for Dish subscribers.

At first, I was mad at Dish. Then I read more about it and discovered that Fox owns part of Direct TV so they are basically doing this to get people to leave Dish for Direct TV. Now, I'm mad at Dish again. They aren't doing enough for their customers to make us feel like they're on our side. They are offering a bunch of channels that I will never watch to replace FSN, FX, and Nat Geo (all of which I watch regularly).

They really should give us a credit on our monthly bills since we don't have these 3 channels. That's what they would do if they actually gave a **** about us. But from what I understand, they aren't even offering that even if you threaten to leave.

If this mess isn't straightened out in the next few weeks, I guess I'll have to go to the dark side (Direct TV) since Dish doesn't seem too concerned about keeping my business and U-Verse isn't available in my neighborhood.
